Dude, at this price, you can't beat it. Not hard to assemble and all necessary tools are included, but you might want help from a pro. I had the G50--it's a long story and since there's no Luck Dragon involved, it's not worth our time. Solid as a 90lb brick. Powerful enough to get me (5'10" 245lb) over the steep grades of Seattle-area hills and have 2/4 bars left after 8.5 miles. On a full charge, on level ground it'll easily hit 24mph with throttle only; 28-30mph with me pedaling like I'm trying to exorcise the Devil from my comatose wife while screaming, "Hi-ho, Silver! Away!" Be ready to make some modifications. The handlebar will roll in it's clamp when you pull back on it with even a minimal amount of force. I drilled through it and rivetted the pieces together: problem solved. I also used heat-shrink over the many electrical connections as a way to augment the already adequate water-tightness (it rains hard here. I didn't have a problem with water intrusion or electrical shorts before; this was simply a personal choice and further preventive measure.) Suspension is awesome. Seat looks better than it feels under my 245lb rear, but it works fine. Local bike shop techs have already worked on it a few times for me (no big issues other than replacing the crank arm after the bolt came loose and the arm wallowed-out on the square-taper.) They vouched for the brakes included on it, said they were decent quality. They agreed with me that it's a great deal for the $$. I get lots of compliments on it re: speed and cosmetics. The G60 is a major improvement over the G50. FWIW, after the G50 I tried the Specialized Turbo Tero X 4.0; I returned it and bought this guy instead. The Tero is a nice bike, but for in-city riding only, the extra $3k wasn't remotely worth it (plus, this one is waaaaay faster.) Happyrun customer service communication is clunky and inefficient, but parts and labor are relatively cheap. The charger died and a replacement took waaaay too long to be delivered IMHO (3 weeks +/-) I found another on Amazon that is probably of higher quality for about $25, as a spare. It would be nice if the display was dimmable: rainy mornings on unlit backroads are difficult because of how bright this sucker is. When there's even a little ambient light, it's not a big deal; in the DARK however, it is obnoxiously disruptive to my nightvision. Still, all things considered, this bike is totally worth any little issues that may pop-up, especially when communication is my biggest gripe. Oh, and if anyone figures out how to unlock the speed governor...please share... ... show more

I bought the bike....was days late. The LED screen was literally broken right off the handle bars while AT THE FACILITY because they instead of switching it for an unbroken one, just put cheap double sided tape. I told them, sent pictures immediately, TWO WEEKS LATER and still nothing. Does NOT go 30mph, does NOT go 60 miles. I would steering clear of this bike folks. I wasted $1000. ... show more

Customer service is terrible and nonexistent. Front wheel came off in the first few minutes of riding and my son could have been seriously injured.

    • It is a great mode of transportation for a teen and a great alternative to a moped!
Our teen has put over 100 miles already. He loves it. He can ride it and use the assist as he desires. It is a great way to get around our smallish town without having to ask mom for a ride. Originally he wanted a moped, but he is definitely happy with the e-bike!
