  • Ride Smarter, Not Harder: The Z8 eBike That’ll Leave You Grinning.
Color: 【Z8】-1500W, 15.6AH
This Bike is Sporty, Affordable, and Dependable! With so many eBikes on the market that cost way more and come with a ton of confusing features, the Z8 stands out by giving consumers exactly what they want: the essentials, at a price that doesn’t break the bank. No extra markups, no fluff—just the good stuff we can all agree on. Assembly Experience Putting this bike together? Not bad at all. I only had to attach the light, kickstand, wheel, and a couple of other bits. Total time? About 45 minutes. Big props to the company for taking the extra care to wrap everything so well. Did I enjoy snipping all that wrapping? Hell no. But do I appreciate the effort? You bet. Could they have inflated the tires for me. Dealbreaker? Nah. Hey, Riding’Times, if you’re listening: Why didn’t you add front turn signals? It’d make the bike even safer—just saying. Suspension and Performance I’m a 6’1", 250-pound guy, and the suspension did its job. The front shocks felt a little springy but handled bumps well and held up as promised. Riding’Times, if you're still here: what’s with the Photon Beam? I get the need for light, but could we at least have the ability to tone it down a bit? But hey, I’ll take that over a weak light any day. Side note: Are these LEDs? The Ride Here’s the bottom line: this bike performs and rides as advertised. It’s affordable, reliable, and, most importantly, fun as hell. Did I mention it can hit 38 mph on a straightaway? *update I was reading this in Kmh not mph* If you’re still reading this, why the hell are you still waiting? Waiting for your HOA president to approve the color you picked to paint your house? Forget about it. Buy the bike. Feel the wind in your hair and have the riding time of your life exploring a whole new world. *UPDATE* Firstly, the bike itself is fantastic and offers a great riding experience. However, my experience with the company behind it leaves much to be desired. The representatives, who I initially believed had the best interests of their customers at heart, unfortunately, did not meet those expectations. Controller Concerns One of the most crucial aspects to consider when purchasing this bike is the controller. I initially believed that the e-bike would utilize its full potential, but I was mistaken. The controller was not up to par, which became evident during my rides. Despite the bike providing a memorable experience, I noticed the motor struggled to reach its intended speed, as if something was holding it back. Upon investigation, I identified the controller as the issue and reached out to the company, hoping for a fair and open dialogue. Regrettably, while previous interactions with the company were positive, they avoided addressing this particular issue. No one likes being ignored when trying to give the company a chance to rectify a problem. Unfortunately, the representatives did not take the time to investigate the situation and instead chose to evade the issue. Performance on Flat Terrain The bike can easily reach 20 mph, but getting to 28 mph on a flat road proved challenging. Despite having a 1500W peak motor, the bike struggled to achieve the desired speed due to the inadequate controller. With the lower-rated controller, the bike could only reach 20-24 mph, and while weight is a factor, it should still perform better. Acceleration was not optimal, and the motor struggled when pushed to its limits. Using a lower-rated controller limits the motor's performance and can cause potential issues. A 30A controller is the sweet spot, providing the right balance without being too low or too high. Symptoms of a Lower-Rated Controller Reduced acceleration Uneven battery drain Throttled power to the motor It's crucial to match the current rating of the controller with the motor to ensure a smooth riding experience. Using a lower-rated controller and expecting happiness is unrealistic. Final Thoughts Potential buyers should be aware that this vendor is not consumer-friendly when addressing issues requiring additional expenses. They tend to avoid addressing such problems. Nevertheless, I will handle the situation amicably but want those interested in this e-bike to think twice and use my review as a point of reference when making their final decision. Overall, ride well, be well, and be safe, fellow e-bikers! *UPDATE* Feb 10th 2025 Following an extended series of callbacks, I am pleased to report that the e-bike issue has been resolved. However, the process presented significant challenges. My initial compensation for the controller issue was 20%, however, neither the vendor nor Amazon explicitly stated this was the final offer. Subsequent communication with Amazon, including escalation to a supervisor, confirmed that 20% represented the seller's complete resolution. Keep in mind, I had to purchase the part and the materials to correct this issue, something that should have been handled before I received the bike. After I concluded my call, the supervisor handled the situation well and even provided additional compensation due to the severity of the misinformation and the ordeal itself. I commend the supervisor for his actions and his integrity but to the seller you could have informed me. It is imperative I convey to the vendor that neglecting customer communication implies a disregard for their concerns. While I do not believe the notion that "the customer is always right," but effective communication necessitates a resolution. Therefore, consumers should engage in dialogue rather than demanding immediate, unconditional refunds. Needless to say, effective communication is crucial for maintaining any relationship; unilateral engagement strongly suggests a lack of cooperation from the other party, either due to the validity of your point or its illuminating nature. However, in this case, I persistently pursued the conversation. Again, a fundamental aspect of any successful organization is consistency and effective communication. This demonstrates their unwavering commitment to resolution. Nothing more nothing less. As always fellow e-bikers be well, ride well and make use my review and the other reviews to make a informed decision when doing business with any company. ... show more

This bike is great. It rides smooth and is easy to control. It can off road easily. The light is bright for when it is dark. The battery life is amazing.

  • Fun bike for teens
Color: 【Z8】with 2 Black Sidebags
My son has been riding his bike around like crazy. He loves it. It was not too difficult to assemble. One thing to note is that the gears for the bike are totally independent from the speed selector for the motor, so you need to select the motor speed before it will go at all with the throttle. The motor speed selector basically just limits the top speed and has no impact on the acceleration. Great bang for the buck in my opinion. Max speed is about 28 mph, which is plenty fast. I do wish the suspension was just a little softer. It can be a little rough on bumpy terrain, but it's still fun! No issues at all after one month. ... show more

  • Fun to ride, and quite big
Color: 【Z8】-1500W, 15.6AH
The bike was pretty easy to put together, feels solid, and is really fun to ride. I call it The Beast, as it’s quite big - almost too big for me. I’m 5’ 4”, the shortest recommended height, but my legs are shorter than average for my height. It’s hard to tell from the listing with all those 6’ giant guys in the videos and reviews. While riding it’s fine, but at stops I’m on tiptoe. I’ve had it about a month and all is well so far. I’m riding about 3 miles to work, and it’s great to get there without being all drippy and red-faced from the exertion - pedal assist is just right, and throttle is awesome for the big hill. I tend to pedal along at about 15 mph, but have gotten it near the 28 mph max on occasion. I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars just because I’ve only had it for about a month, not nearly long enough for a thorough review, or experience with longevity or customer service. I’m hoping things continue as well as they’ve begun. ... show more

  • Love the bike
Color: 【Z8】-1500W, 15.6AH
800 miles on the bike and counting. The description of the bike online doesn’t give it enough justice. The bike is really fast. I can keep up with certain gas moped drivers which is really fun. The little digital speedometer can catch you doing 45miles per hour. I use it for almost everything in my life. Commuting 30 minutes to almost 40 minutes each day to work has been fun and fast. It gets me to places so fast. I love the shock absorbers/the suspension on the bike. My city has terrible…. I mean terrible!!! pot holes. It helps a lot with not feeling like I’m on a bumpy ride. Yes it could ride on different. Just don’t ride in wet mud unless you’re ready for the dirt lol. Now limitation’s, It’s moped style so when turning at high speeds, the bike doesn’t have a sharp turn radius. Two the bike says it’s water resistant right. I got caught in flash flood rain one day when riding home and ever since then. My horn for the bike doesn’t work. Plus it’s been feeling like It takes me longer to reach certain high speeds on throttle mode.(kind of sad right now). Battery life, If i have it on the lowest setting you’re looking at the highest speeds reaching 37miles per hour on throttle mode. Which last for almost 4 hours. The trick is disconnecting the cord that powers the headlight/horn if u wanna conserve battery. Another con is the brakes. Eventually you may have to invest better brake pads. The ones it comes with is good but keep in mind. The bike is big/heavy. When traveling at certain high speeds over time and braking you will have to have a brake adjustment or invest into higher quality brakes. It all depends on the level of usage. Overall I love the bike and wished I got the z8 pro for longer battery life. Oh before I forget. This is something personal. I don’t know if it’s me or not but I think the fenders that protect the wheels are causing aerodynamic drag. Whenever I'm riding in strong winds at high speeds. If it’s a headwind or a crosswind. I could literally feel the bike turning me/swerving me into the direction the wind is blowing. I don’t know if it’s just the bike that does it in the wind or fenders. I’ll update y'all if I take them off and try it. ... show more
