This motor is scary fast and torque. Compared with my old mid drive system of equal power specs this is much better. Mid drive systems have too many moving parts. This came quickly and was much easier to assemble than my old mid drive system. Be careful and wear your helmet

EDIT: review is updated at one star after the bicycle went wide open throttle while going 10 mph decided to go max and throw me off in an intersection and fly down the street until I chased it down with broken toes the wheel still spinning at max speed and pulled the batteries out, could've very easily ended in my death or caused an vehicle accident. Faulty part was found to be the controller, not the throttle so I contacted seller and was told I can send it back which would be more expensive than buying a new one from them for 200$ I'm not giving a company 200$ with no guarantees that this new controller won't do the same thing. Now I don't even want to ride it as its dangerous and a liability. 600$ paperweight now until I figure out how to ensure that doesn't happen again.. ... show more
