Kit arrived damaged from shipping, small nic in cable near hub. Working with Anne through WhatsApp was very effective in troubleshooting issues and getting it resolved. I am very satisfied with the resolution. Unfortunately I had to completely install, de-install and re- install the kit a few times… I got pretty efficient. I have about 30 miles on the bike so far and I can honestly say it is absolutely amazing. I’ve had to be careful about speed limits as my bike has surpassed 50 MPH…. Assuming speedometer is accurate. NEW 1 year later: This kit was great, until it wasn't. After about 2000 miles on the odometer (which isn't crazy), I started feeling vibrating, and a few days later while riding the rear axle snapped clean off! Completely unsafe, and luckily I was going slow so I could catch myself, but otherwise would have flown off. I have reached out to support numerous times and they aren't providing any assistance. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary nor am too heavy.. but for this to break 1 year later on a critical part is unacceptable. Old positive review: I've built a few ebikes before, and if this is your first it will be tricky. There really aren't any instructions and you should have good tools and a bike stand. I knew that going in so it's no problem. I paired this with a hardtail 29er, 20 ah 72 volt battery and it rips! I'm 200 lbs and full charged can get me about 38 mph. slight downhill or lighter person easily breaks 40. Plenty of power. The main thing they could improve is with the pedal assist sensor. When you pedal a bit, it counts it as max and goes max power of that level. I guess they'd need a torque sensor or cadence should work, but it's a bit annoying for it to suddenly take off. I have over 600 miles already and it has worn the tire down but no issues. ... show more

This motor will definitely move! I attached mine to a Schwinn Boundary and so far I've gotten up to 35 mph. That was only on the third power level out of five. So, be careful out there if you buy this kit. The kit includes 1 torque arm. I would suggest buying an second one. They're only ~$10 and, considering the torque, better to be safe than sorry. I purchased the battery from the same vendor through Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RXCSZVV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Anne was excellent. They contacted me after my order to make sure I had everything I needed. My kit shipped from their CA warehouse via FedEx. Total time for delivery from order was about 2 weeks. Afterword I reached out to Anne via WhatsApp about the wiring layout and manual for the controller. They responded quickly and I included the layout provided to me in the review photos. Since Amazon won't let me link outside of their site, you can find the manual if you search for "enoeco cs-s900." My only complaints are minor. I would prefer the throttle to have a little more spring tension to avoid torquing at low speeds. The other grip is of the slip-on variety and a bit of pain to get mounted. Other than that, the inclusion of wire wrap was a nice touch. It makes for a cleaner install and the controller bag is handy. Tools needed. Metric hex keys 5, 4, and 3, a 10 mm wrench for the torque arm and a 21?mm wrench. Not sure about the 21mm as I used a 12 point 13/16 box end wrench to tighten the wheel nuts. You'll also need some bicycle rim wrap/tape. The holes for the spokes are not the smoothest and I cut a tube because I didn't wrap the rim. ... show more

Ok so heres my thoughts the actual motor and controller and everything is good. really good. like obscenely powerful. and while thats a good thing to most people its a bit of a hindrance to me and heres why my bike has an aluminum frame which it ended up ripping the back end off of pretty quickly and rather violently however i have since gotten a new steel bike frame and it works really well. goes up hills like nothing. but because of that one negative experience ima have to take a star off this one. Oh also the torsion bar/arm this thing comes with is... in my opinion a little less strong than it should be however stronger torsion arms are really cheap so its not a huge deal to simply get a better one if youre already shelling out $500 for a motor ... show more

This is my first ever E-Bike build and I decided to use a giant talon 2 medium size frame to house this beast of a motor. The kit comes in nice packaging and everything you need to assemble it minus a proper instruction manual. Despite the lack of guide, the customer service is fantastic with quick responses and Anne goes the extra mile to help you complete your kit and answer any questions you might have about the project. So far, I can't speak to the quality of the finished product as I've only ridden 25 miles but what I can say is that the motor is powerful! You WILL have a smile on your face when you finally finish the project and get on the road. Lastly, make sure you have a proper 135mm dropout and 15mm axle height before installing as there may be incompatible dropouts on newer bikes. Buy a measuring tool for millimeters and make sure you have a proper donor as the talon required filing down the dropouts. All in all, I am very satisfied with the customer service if nothing else. I bought a 2000w kit for my son's heavy duty mountain bike, as the previous 3 kits were not quite powerful for hills. After he had it put together, I was the first one to test it for speed and safety: 1. fast, definitely not for beginners 2. easy to control 3. great for the price 4. stealth, you can still take it on bike trails if you go slow 5. not that much heavier than 500w or 1000w last but not least: I recommend motorcycle safety gear.
