This affordable solution to securing a canopy tent is a great addition to have. I have a canopy tent that I use quite often to cover my picnic table while camping or to use when I go to outdoor markets and such to cover my sale goods from the weather, and provide me some shade. Often at these shows they have you place your tent on a concrete surface, which makes it impossible to stake the tent down securely. You can place boxes or other items to hold the guy lines secure, but this is a much better solution. They talk very closely to your tent poles, so they are not. A tripping hazard to anyone. They’re easy to fill in once full. They are very stable and can resist pretty Highwinds from blowing your tent away. They are made of thick fabric that is difficult to tear and holds up well to the elements. They are quite heavy ones filled so I find it easier to bring them empty and fill them at the destination.. Especially to help you place them exactly where needed immediately instead of lugging it from the car to your tent and then have to adjust the placement of it to your liking. if you have a tent canopy, you use often either for picnics, etc. or for your business I highly recommend this. These weight bags are great for our canopy. They've really easy to attach thanks to the hook and loop fasteners, and the handles make for an easier time when moving them. They're much more sturdy than the ones that came from the manufacturer of our canopy, and do an awesome job holding it down against strong winds here.     • Best Weight System My Tent Has Ever Had !

I am pleased with the new tent leg weighting system I ordered to secure my craft display tent at outdoor handmade craft shows throughout the southeast. The bags are heavily constructed with a weatherproof heavy vinyl type material. double sewn industrial seams and excellent quality Velcro style fasting systems to secure the weight bags to the legs of the tent. There is a wide mouth and long flap at the top of the bag for easy filling of the media that will provide the much needed ballast for the tent. The design is such that the bags will really hug the tent legs well and provide some much needed support to the lower end of those four bases. The handles at the top of each bag are well padded so that no matter what you fill the bags with to build your individually designed system they can be carried with out the straps digging into your hands. The bags themselves have a almost wet look to them they are so gloss black and I simply cant weight to use them at the big festival we have coming up in Ohio shortly. ... show more

This review is for the JANCANOPY Heavy Duty Canopy Weight Bags. I use these bags to anchor my canopy at the beach. They are easily filled with sand. Made of thick durable material. Velcro straps secures the bags to the canopy legs. Nice affordable option to anchor canopies.

Used these for our camping table and they worked well when we encountered some stronger winds one day. They can be filled with sand, rocks, water bottles etc and the straps have decently strong Velcro on them. I do wish the straps were a little bit longer but they worked for our table. If you have something with thick legs these may be a tight fit to wrap the straps around and get enough velcro stuck to keep them real secure so perhaps measure what you need these for first. I feel these will be reusable for a long time if you clean and dry them properly between uses. We hung them upside down in the sun after use before packing them back up until our next camping trip. Glad to have them especially because we camp in and around the mountains and the winds can pick up at a moments notice. ... show more

    • Sturdy and quick to set up
Style: 150lbs
First and foremost, the handles help with ergonomically moving the bags and it's importance cannot be understated. The stitching is reasonable, so it will probably hold the advertised weight without breaking. However, the stitching is not overkill (e.g. spacing between each stitch could be smaller or double stitched), so don't go wild and yank on the handles when it's hold a lot of weight. The bag can hold water, so it's water tight and sand won't spill out. The top is not water tight, but should not be a problem it's held upright and sand is being used. The velcro system is easy enough to quickly add/remove the bags to a canopy's legs. Unfortunately, the combination of the velcro system and the metallic legs leaves some room for improvement. Depending on how the legs are set up (straight vs slight slant), the tent still has some room to slide and can still move a little bit. To be fair, this weight reduces the movement significantly to the point where it probably doesn't matter. ... show more
