I haven't able to get any good sound out of it, but maybe it's normal for a folk instrument. However, proper training is required to play any traditional flute, and the cost and overall sound of this flute is not too boring for beginners.

Got here in good time but it could have taken a couple of months for all it is worth. I may not know to play a flute, but there was no combination of fingers on this that allowed me to get it to sound more than 3 notes. It sits on the top shelf looking nice and gathering dust.
