Purchased for a 30ft camper to replace the propane one. Works amazingly and very easy to install. No hard wiring plugs right into a outlet. 13gallon is plenty of hot water and if it’s turned all the way up u can’t touch the water that’s how hot it gets. My boiler went out and I needed a shower solution asap. It runs on 110 and provides a pretty decent shower. The showerhead compensates for the low pressure. So it is sort of a heavy mist. I keep the stall setting on zero and turn the temp all the way up. Takes about 20 minutes to heat up, but I haven't tripped the circuit. And the tank capacity is plenty for a long hot shower I have had it up and running for over a week and I hope that it has some longevity. Worked well 6 months of part time use. The breaker on the plug went bad, seller said they sent a replacement but 25 days still have not received new plug. Seller said they couldn’t replace or return since I went past the return time, so with nothing to loose I replaced the plug with a similar one from a hardware store, water heater worked a few more days and then won’t heat. Should of just went to Home Depot and bought a name brand ... show more

...But If you are going to hang this out side to make a primitive shower with the included mixer and shower wand, it may be OK. But I had a great deal of trouble and expense adapting the 1/2" hook ups. Not the standard for american plumbing. American water heater hook ups are 3/4". Spent over $80 dollars on adapters and fittings to hook it to standard 3/4". I recommend looking for a water heater that has standard 3/4" fittings. The included safety pressure relief valve is basically trash. I will end up having to adapt a 3/4" pressure relief valve at more additional expense. ... show more

I installed this in a travel trailer to replace a 6 gallon heater. It came in damaged which I made the ups driver note on the delivery. The shower wand was broke, both knobs that control heat, there was no mixing valve as shown in video of install. No instructions , there was a little bit of styrofoam protecting the unit but not near enough. despite this since I was using as a heater and not a stand alone shower I hooked it up and it worked, I really didn't need the knobs since I could twist the metal stems and once adjusted probably never touch again. as for instructions really don't need since hot and cold are marked and it plugs in. Wand and knobs were plastic. 1/2 inch connections so be ready for that. ... show more
