I've just completed measuring several of the 12v LED bulbs at Amazon, and of all of the bulbs (including other COB), these drew exactly the amount of current as they were rated (6w). The light was also more than any of the others I tested (3.5 -- 7w range). This bulb will dim as well. Very nice, but a bit on the expensive side. ... show more

Ordered 4 lamps one was damaged from shipping. However the Amazon returns is easy and quick through Kole's. The 3 lamps are nice and bright from 12vdc to 25vdc. They are dimmable as I used a 1 amp variable dc power supply to test. A 9v radio battery will light up these bulbs. ( for a quick test) full brightness comes on at 11 vdc and stays consistent up to 25vdc. My power supply is limited to 25 vdc. The current is higher at lower voltage around 900 ma. At 5vdc. And as voltage increases the current lowers way down to 90ma at 25vdc. ... show more

It has held up in extreme heat and cold, and naturally it is installed in a "damp" location. If if were to break at this point I would not hesitate to order another. ... show more

When I initially received this item, it seems well built and it was really nice and bright for adding to my 12 V landscape system in a protected fixture (bulb cannot get wet), but after two months, bulb is no brighter than a candle. Transformer it good digital regulated power source and whole system is LED and other lights have been operating for years. It is not worth hassle to initiate returns for items in this price category. Will change review if seller offers replacement without needing to return this item. ... show more
