Using a hand pumps or gravity pouring fuel into a machine was a real hassle before. This pump easily hooks up a 12v battery and with a couple of hoses makes fuel transfer a ton easier. This is a great pump for keeping your vehicles/tractors...etc fueld up. It does require a 12v battery (just use your vehicle battery, or bring a separate vehicle battery specifically for this pump), but it works well and does a good job of transferring diesel fuel from either 5 gallon cans or an on vehicle transfer tank.
