  • Nice picture
I only used this camera on one assignment but can say that the video quality and sound recording helped capture the footage of a suspect confronting officers and later reporting that we were the instigators. The footage saved the day.

  • Features and a Update
Wow. Thanks to all of YOU that write these reviews! After countless hours of research into these “body cams”, I chose this one and I had a slight learning curve to overcome but I think I’m good to go now🙂. So here’s what I hope to add to everyone else’s input 1. Go online and download a free rar file opener app (Microsoft site preferred/may be best or wherever you need to go or want to go. This will open up or unzip the Cammpro file. If you think you need to(?)🧐. (I had to) my computer couldn’t have opened it otherwise. 2. When I took the cam out of the box, I looked at battery level from the factory. We all know that most of the time we/I have to finish charging it up for use👍 My experience with it made me think that in the cradle during warm summer temps and pretty warm in the house, this thing is getting real warm!😧 and it wasn’t getting fully charged. So I took the cable only and the 110 socket adapter and rigged it up over by the cool A/C air and it charged, light turned GREEN and I was good to go with no Funky Cold Medina!🤪 Make sure 110 socket adapt stays cool too! (by my ac unit it was probably 72*-75* blowing right next to it which I think made a diff)🧐😏. Now in the winter here in Michigan I will probably use the cradle to charge it since my house will be much cooler and I’m wearing sweats or multiple layers inside like I do in the winter AND theorizing that will work just great(?)... You know how these types of batteries can be sensitive and finicky when in charge mode. Just wanted to share my experience to all of you that really helped me! On those fragmented files, again like I read in these reviews, treat it as an external storage ofcourse and format it , be patient .... Update your firmware on it through Microsoft, Cammpro software, etc.(?) Check for updated drivers on your system too. I did on my system which is a 4 year old Dell model (4 cylinder) lol USE the cable provided by Cammpro (not that it’s a deal breaker, but may make a lot of diff in results??! These units are/seem pretty tough💪 AND I just found on Amazon tonight the accessories for these cams, (rotatable clip, suction/windshield mount, etc and you can purchase. Also a two pack of 360 rotatable clips for under 20 bucks! The accessories “kit” I think was around 38ish dollars(?) Also I’ll close with a homemade remedy that will make Red Green envious: And you laugh as well, I hope anyway... On my vehicle dash (2007 Chevy Express 3500), I want to use the 1826 model with standard straight clip, 32Gig unit as a dash cam as well. (I can’t believe I’m not getting comp’d for this but here goes) With all that “As seen on TV” stuff I had I decided to build my own cam mount with what I had. I took the “Fastball” magnetic cell phone mount and some Phil Swift “Flex-Glue” and mounted the base to my dash facing forward(notice the GM dash design), and the concave magnet to the Cammpro standard clip leaving/adjusting it so the bottom of the cam JUST touches the bottom flat part of dash and presto! I LIKE IT🏆 Plus I can SWIVEL/PAN it to extreme left or right (bonus🥰). Remember I was not aware at the time you can now get the extra accessories I just found tonight! FYI- my firmware version is: V20200511 I have 3 units now, all the 1826 model. Hopefully batteries, buttons, etc will last. The features these have are great. If I can add a pic or two I will. If you made it to the end, Thanks for reading this. And thanks again to all of you’s 🤝 UPDATE. UPDATE. I just realized that the clip that comes with this is fully 360 rotatable. I could of sworn that I read in one review or so that the clip wasn’t a 360. IT IS A 360 so attach it to cam and then rotate. I thought I might break it, but it is just a good solid built clip😉. I don’t recall at all through the ad, box it came in, or manual that stated it was. As good as it’s built, and all those features, I should have been more up on its ability. But if your not told that it does do the 360 thing, I was afraid of breaking it. I stand corrected! Good job Campro and Charles and Hannah who took the time to make sure I was good to go🙂. ... show more

  • Great dual purpose camera
The media could not be loaded. This camera is great for use as a hunting camera at night. It has tremendous battery life and it writes data efficiently when recording so 32 gb is more than enough storage. Although my purpose was not to use it during the daytime, its ruggedness and high quality camera lense makes it a cheap replacement over a traditional GoPro. It allows you to easily switch between night vision mode and a traditional color video camera with the push of a button. Overall, I’d highly recommend this product, especially at the cheap price point it is offered at. ... show more

  • 4.5 stars truly
This product is awesome and standby time last forever very easy to use the only thing I didn't like about it is the retaining clip is no good. In many ways, it's placing blocks the view of the little mini screen. So as to be removed in order to see the screen. Not so much a problem if you're just going to put it on a computer anyways. however within 3 days of using it the clip will no longer stay on the body camera itself and return the body camera falls multiple times did the day. and return the shock resistant covering may have and everything else is his promise the camera itself is phenomenal but it doesn't stay to your body it's not a body camera it' handheld. ... show more

  • Surprising Quality
I recently started a blog about hiking and a few outdoor adventures. I have a GoPro, but I wanted to try something that was dedicated to carrying on my chest while working with my hands to give a better camera angle. The GoPro chest strap is cumbersome and I really don’t like using it. I came across this camera after a friend bought one a few months ago and thought I’d give it a chance. I was surprised by the video quality and the overall sturdiness of the camera. It’s easy enough that someone as computer illiterate as me can figure out. I enjoy the camera and I’m glad I bought it. ... show more

  • Stopped working no manufacturer help
Carried this camera around for about two weeks then all of a sudden it stopped working. Then it froze up every time I tried to use it. I tried to get support but nobody from Amazon or the company would get back to me to help. The company is in china and won’t get back to me. Do not buy this product it’s no good with absolutely no support for the customer. ... show more

  • Decent Quality, Battery Eventually Dies
I purchased this unit at the end of 2019. It records decent quality video, including in night vision mode. Unfortunately, the battery life is about a year and a half long before it starts dying 30-45 minutes after a full charge. I tossed it in a drawer roughly in the middle of 2020 and never looked back at it. I definitely require guaranteed equipment to possibly save me from court costs when people inevitably lie in my profession. I just recently found it once more while cleaning some things out and remembered to toss up a review for others that may be considering purchasing this product. It’s a decent body camera until it becomes unreliable on when it’s going to die randomly (even with a full charge). ... show more

  • Valuable!!
This camera has strong battery life! I don’t have to keep charge it for many times. The pixel and the resolution is great, it’s really clear even I use it at night. (or in the dark) Additionally, this camera has wide-angle that you could use it as a driving recorder. The sound quality it also excellent! I also use it for record the music and the recital👍 ... show more
