I was a bit underwhelmed when I opened this kit up. It's got such good reviews, yet the tools seem to vary from basic Harbor Freight to dollar store quality. They are all light-duty, for sure. They will work for a simple kit for someone who does not need tools very often, and the kit itself was very reasonably priced. A decent hammer would cost as much as the whole kit, so I mostly forgive the quality. The clamshell is okay, but the tool set is missing some important ones, so I just got a cheap canvas bag and threw them in there along with some extra stuff, like a mini level, needle-nose pliers, etc. ... show more

Every tool you could possibly need, unless your a carpenter or something like that. All in a handy case. The tools are good quality. And the whole set costs less than a hammer and a screwdriver. Buy a hammer, then a scissors... or just buy this and have it all.

This a a great kit for a single mother (or in my case grandmother) for just about anything you need to put stuff together. Love that it is pink (although there are other colors) and heavy duty.
