These tiles are not coated so it makes them the perfect media for painting. I have been painting on ceramic plates/platters for a couple years now and these are smaller and more economical. They are package very nicely so none of them appear to be broken.

The tiles are ok, but the cork is paper thin. I've been making photo coasters for years I have never seen cork this thin it's like paper some of them are curled or folded in half. It does seem to stick well SMH The shop I normally buy them from on Amazon seems to not sell the tile or cork anymore so I took a chance with this shop. I give the photo coasters away as gifts.I will not purchase again. ☹️ ... show more

The actual tiles are good quality, the cork backing could be a bit thicker.. but "Ok". Also be aware, the shipping package is absolutely horrific. They came in a single box all stacked together with really no support. I had to return the first box because 19 tiles were broken. (again the packaging)

Perfect coasters for my pour painting project. Very easy to work with and the final product came out fantastic! Love that they came with cork backings as well, which were very easy to apply once everything was dry (I recommend using painters tape on the bottom to protect them while doing the pouring even though you’ll be applying the cork backing after, as it makes sure you don’t have any paint drips that may cause the coasters to not lie flat). A few of the cork backings were too crushed in shipping to be used, but I reached out to the company and they sent me plenty of extras very promptly, which was really appreciated. Will definitely be buying these again for future projects!! ... show more

Have been using these tiles for a while in smaller packages. Thought I would get a bigger pack to save money per item. They were shipped in 4 boxes inside a larger box without much packing around. As a result, several tiles in each box were broken. Tried glueing back together but not sure if I want to sell broken tiles. So because I lost tiles from each box, my cost per usable item went up.
