After watching the video on installing them, they were easy to put on. I love that you can keep them in the unlocked position and switch them to locked very easily. This did the trick to keep my cat from getting into the cabinets under the sink where I keep cleaning products and vases. It was simple to install with no drilling, and comes with plenty so I can use for future (I store the box with the instructions under the sink too). It has a fairly simple and discoverable release tab that worked for guests coming over when I forgot to tell them about the childproof lock and they were trying to grab extra paper towels from under the sink. Since these have a stick on option, they can be installed really easily and are easy for adults to open and close when installed. However, if you don’t line it up just right, it will loosen it when being used and eventually fall off. It does have a screw option as well that is much sturdier. We got these to keep the dogs from opening cabinets. (Pesky dogs!) anyways, they work really well but we had to buy better screws for them. The sticky was not a good application for our real wood, flat painted cabinets. But we do like them and the locking mechanism is sturdy!

No measurements, no marking where it needs to go… just remove the super strong tape and attach the top where you want it to go, close the door and thats it! These are so easy to use. You can stick them on or drill them in whatever you prefer. They have a little lever like piece where you can prevent them from actually latching for when baby isn’t around and then you just remove the lever part and it works as a safety latch again.
