We got these for both our house and our grandkid’s house. So far they’re great - we didn’t permanently attach them with the screws yet, but the tape is holding up well. After watching the video on installing them, they were easy to put on. I love that you can keep them in the unlocked position and switch them to locked very easily. Definitely recommend them for securing cabinets in any room from small hands! I’m sure older kids can figure out how they work, but for small kids, they’re great! This did the trick to keep my cat from getting into the cabinets under the sink where I keep cleaning products and vases. It was simple to install with no drilling, and comes with plenty so I can use for future (I store the box with the instructions under the sink too). It has a fairly simple and discoverable release tab that worked for guests coming over when I forgot to tell them about the childproof lock and they were trying to grab extra paper towels from under the sink. Got these to keep our cats out of the garbage. Functionality and features are excellent (especially like the lock-disable feature). Operates smoothly and easily. The first morning after installing, pulled the drawer open. I'm not a brute, and was not in a hurry; I pulled it at a modest rate, did not yank. But the spring-loaded latch immediately snapped (see pic). I've also included a pic of another (unused) latch. On reflection, it seems these parts are made of Polystyrene, which is about the cheapest plastic that a manufacturer can use. Compare that to POM (Acetal or Delrin), a plastic ubiquitous in consumer products, notably the sliding buckles used for everything from dog collars to backpacks. POM is strong stuff, hardly expensive, and yet it seems, was deemed unnecessary for a child safety lock :-\ . Hey, as long as they can reach their price point... I dinged two stars, but arguably should have taken more. I'll replace it with an unused latch because it's the easiest thing to do, but this early failure is not a good sign. This was not a manufacturing defect, more like an inherent point-of-failure weakness, and on that basis I cannot recommend these. ... show more

These are great cabinet locks. I have them on all of my kitchen cabinets and my 19 month old doesn’t get into them. She knows that she can’t open them so she eventually just stopped trying to open them all together. They are very easy to hang and easy to use!

Easy to attach to cabinets! I like that there’s a spring. We had another brand break off after a while because there wasn’t a spring so repeated opening would bend the plastic and the lock would snap.
