This a review on the Coolvie 14in. Medium Firm XL Twin Mattress. I truly did the research on this mattress by reading all the reviews. Therefore I wanted to write a review that would hopefully be helpful and informative. I had 2 TwinXL Beautyrest 14in. Medium Plush Recharge Contenders that were over a $1000 each almost 10 years ago when we bought them. My husband and I have 2 twin xl mattresses because we have adjustable bed bases that make a King. My bed had deteriorated at a faster rate than my husband's because I have disabilities in my back and heart so I'm always home. When we went shopping for mattresses during Labor Day the prices floored us. Therefore I researched and took a chance on this mattress. We only bought one for me now and got the 14in Medium Firm. If all stays like it is we'll get the Medium Plush for my Husband. We ordered it during Prime Days and got a great price $264 but the regular price for this mattress is also very incredible fairly priced with the $50.00 normal coupon for the mattress of $329.99 is $280 which already is a Great Price so it'll end up less than $600 for a King. The Mattress arrived on a Sunday three (3) Days early. I was so happy when I got the text that it was coming early. My husband and I were careful. He took it out of the box and cut the saran wrap and it's easy to unwrap. Did not unroll. My husband then tore open the the vacuum sack with tool they provide then the decompressing starts. Wow that was so cool. We left it like that for 24 hours and after one day it was already at almost 14in. I periodically checked on it for the growth but it pretty much didn't grow much more after 48 hours. After around the 60 hours we took it to our bed and that night I slept on it. I think that has been the best night's and next day's sleep I've ever had🤣 I woke up the next morning and accidentally fell asleep again and woke up 3 hours later. I will update in a few months if needed, but right now I will give this bed 5 stars out of 5 stars. It is firm but soft. Works perfectly on an adjustable base which I was worried because read a review that said it didn't but knew it did because innerspring mattresses should work with adjustable bases and as you can see in the picture it does!😁btw no smell. Sides are not as Plush as my Beautysleep but I'm not sleeping on the side of my mattress so who cares. ... show more

Have had many different styles of beds. Water, mattress and box spring, Inter spring and memory. This mattress is hands down the best of them all. I am not a light weight and this mattress gives firm support, yet is cloud soft. I can lay on my side without pressure, which none of my previous beds could do. I have placed this mattress on an adjustable bed frame and it performs perfectly. No creasing or folding. It is heavy, but this semi disabled woman moved it on her own. It expanded over night.     • Good Quality and Good Value Mattress--But What Made It Better was Amazon's Set-up and Removal Option

In Spring 2024 I bought a well-reviewed, but lower cost, full sized mattress in a box from Amazon for my spare bedroom and was shocked in a good way when I was given a specific delivery time option and discovered that mattress was delivered and set up free of charge by Amazon (and there was an option to take away an old mattress and box spring at NO EXTRA CHARGE). I mistakenly thought that's how all mattresses were sold off Amazon only to later discover by trial and error that this option now exists for only selected, upper range quality mattresses that are specifically sold and shipped by Amazon. I am a big guy and weigh over 240 pounds, but find this model of Coolvie mattress to be very comfortable for me to sleep on as both a side and back sleeper and very supportive of my body weight. The other amazing thing is I can sit on the edge of this mattress without it collapsing. If you read the reviews of most other "mattresses in a box" (even the more expensive ones), you will hear customer reviews saying you will slide off the edges. I also took advantage of getting an Amazon Prime credit card with no annual fee that further reduced the cost of this mattress (in addition to the Black Friday price) by an extra $200. This is my first ever review but definitely well worth it. I bought a termpurpedic luxe in February of this year. From the first night sleeping in it I hated it but surely I’d get use to it. And love it. It was a 7000 dollar mattress after all. At the beginning of November I couldn’t take it any more i would. wake up with shoulder pain, hip pain, lower back pain, feeling like I needed to walk like the old guy on UP. (I’m only 32 there’s something wrong with that) I ordered this mattress with low hopes but I was going to test it out for the price. I refuse to spend the kind of money I spent before and go to waste again! I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for about 2 weeks now. And it’s made a world of difference! I feel rested waking up and very little stiffness or pain. It was easy to unbox. It’s a tad heavy and I did have to drag it up stairs so I would suggest help unpacking it. But I definitely recommend! It’s just firm enough. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the thickness of the outside blue part (you can feel the springs through the side) but I wasn’t holding my expectations very high considering the price.
