This was ordered to replace a very old, and very expensive, mattress. Considering the cost of this is literally 1/3 and maybe even 1/4 of anything comparable, it deserves 5 stars. I have been sleeping on it for a few weeks now and have nothing but good things to say. The old mattress was a hybrid inter-spring mattress, and that's why the price was so much more to replace it with something that was the same. This isn't, it is just a layered memory foam bed, and that comes with some pro's and con's. Personally, I wanted a firmer bed compared to what I was replacing. This is considered a medium, but in comparison, it is much firmer than the inter-spring mattress I had. I am not a big fan of the memory foam because it takes time to rebound after you shift your weight. This isn't a problem and more of a feature of this type of bed, so I can't knock it on that. I have been sleeping better with it, but again, the old mattress had gotten so bad that it's amazing I didn't have more back issues. In the end, this is a great value if you are not wanting to spend a lot of money. You will get diminished returns as you spend more, but you will get more if you buy a premium mattress. This has worked out fine, and I am sleeping better for sure. For the money, you can't go wrong. If you don't mind the memory foam, this is about the best deal you're going to get. They recommend 48 hours after open to let it fully "inflate". I opened it in the morning and put it on the bed, slept on it that night. Over the next few days it did "open" up a bit more. As far as quality, it looks good, and could easily be sold in a big box store. This is by no means a cheap imported product. As far as all the promises they make... they all proved to be true. It is in fact cooling and breathes well, isolates movement very well, balances softness and support, and is easily cleaned by removing the cover. Worth every penny of $400.00. ... show more

I've never purchased a mattress on-line before, only from furniture stores. I had some trepidation about not laying on this before getting it into my house, but this OGeni queen mattress is actually a very comfortable. This mattress arrived in a 15” x 15” x 62” box that weights about 75 lbs. Two people can carry it up flights of stairs MUCH easier than a typical 80” x 60” x 12” thick mattress, and it even fits in elevators. It comes vacuum sealed, so we carefully removed it from the bag it came sealed in, roll it out flat, and then give it 3 days to fully expand. Do not plan to sleep on it the day it arrives! The mattress has medium firmness overall, and is a good compromise for a couple if one person wants a firm mattress and the other a softer one. Isolation is typical for a memory-foam type mattress. The product description claims no box spring is needed, but I recommend using one if possible. Edges are OK to sit on but do dip a bit, definitely not as rigid as an innerspring mattress. This mattress was ordered for our guest room and we have had no complaints yet, unlike the numerous complaints I received for the inflatable mattress this one replaced!! What stands out most with this mattress is the excellent value for the price. Buying a decent 12" thick Queen mattress for under $300 is an amazing value. This is a foam mattress, not an innerspring, but even other foam mattress we have cost 3x the sale price of this one. This mattress arrived in a 14” x 14” x 62” box which weighed about 70 lbs. That’s quite the feat for an 80”L, 60”W x 12” thick mattress. It comes vacuum sealed, so you need to carefully remove the bag it’s sealed in, roll it out flat and then give it some time to fully expand. The documentation says to wait up to 48 hours to fully expand to 12”, but mine was expanded to about 10” after just 1 hour or so. This mattress comes with a 10 year limited warranty. The Amazon page for this mattress states that there is a 100 night free trial. However, as of this writing, the Amazon page also says this mattress is returnable until January 31, 2025. That’s a good bit less than 100 days as of this writing. I posted a question on the Amazon page asking how the return process works before the 100 night trial period expires. I will update this review if an answer from the seller is forthcoming, or not. The mattress claims to be of medium firmness, and that seems about right. I prefer a medium firmness mattress, and as a side sleeper, I find this mattress to be very comfortable. As with any mattress, most of the sleepy magic is inside so not visible from the outside. What is visible from the outside looks to be of good quality. The fabric covering looks and feels appropriate. I find this mattress to be a good value at the price shown when I ordered it, and it is very comfortable. Life is too short waste a night on an uncomfortable mattress. ... show more
