I am SO impressed with this cooktop! I picked it up to use outside, as a grill companion. We easily got this attached to the side of the grill (there was a shelf there already, we just cut the opening to size), and it fits perfect and looks amazing! This arrived very quick, with everything neatly packaged/protected in a heafty cardboard box. The quality is really great! Nothing about this insert feels cheep at all. Everything (including the knobs) is metal and very durable. It's also super easy to clean! Assembly was very simple and took about 5 minutes (after cutting the hole and inserting it where we wanted it) to get the pieces in place and the unit connected to the gas. They include all of the connectors you would need, so there's no need to buy anything else. It's ready to go upon arrival (as long as you already have a gas source). The burners are very easy to use and cook the food really well. We had a stand alone burner in the past that was so weak and pretty terrible, so we took a chance with this one, and it most definitely paid off. This is absolutely wonderful! I think that this is an excellent burner and the price is very reasonable. I like that it can be used just about anywhere there's gas. You do not need to install this into a counter top/grill/space to use it either. Just make sure you set it on a heat safe surface. ... show more

Designed for countertop or to be built in, it's a surprisingly nice burner. The cooktop is heavy duty and is perfect for my auxiliary cooking environment using propane.

    • Defective item
Product was professionally installed, however there was a gas leak in the front burner. According to Amazon they reached out to the manufacturer. I have yet to receive a response from them or Amazon regarding this item. Very frustrating and upsetting. Would not buy again.

Worked fine for a couple of weeks but then the large burner wouldn't light without a manual lighter.

My family loves to BBQ and we usually have tons of folks over. I wanted to find a supplement burner to go with our Weber Grill. Super simple installation and viola you have two extra burners to help you achieve your cooking skills. This gas cooktop was made with stainless steel and seems very durably made. What I really love about this is the fact you can prepare so many different foods using the grill for boiling, simmering, steaming and more. This cooktop is good quality and very well-made. I installed this next to my BBQ grill and it worked perfectly. Connection is easy as I already have the gas line there.
