Always wanted grab bars in Master shower, could not locate shorter ones for the 42" x 42" "faux marble" 1980's shower until these. Installed with included hardware, very solid connection to "faux marble" panels. Check with sig. other for positioning - higher than ADA within "automatic reach" height - around 48" above floor. Generally, these are good, but as others have said, the covers don't snap on once installed. This is because the design requires the cover to snap on past the edge of the mount by about 1/32", which cannot happen once the mount is installed up against the wall flush. I applied silicone caulk to the cup, but it only makes the cup push itself back off the mount moreso. I ended up holding the cups on as far as they would go with tape until the caulk sets. There is a sliver of silver visible though against the wall. Keep in mind that when installing horizontally, in order to have a screw hole line up 16" on center with studs, the 3rd hole will be behind the rail, so only 2 can be fastened. Lastly, one of the 2 rails I received had some rust on it already. (see pics) ... show more

Came looking just as advertised. Lightweight, no chips in paint, love the textured center. We got these to put on a pole by the swimming pool, to assist folks going up and down the stairs. Had them attached and ready to use in under 15 minutes.
