Easy install. We place this 2 set bars strategically at the front door. Obvious and sticks out like a sore thumb because they are so shiny. Our elderly mother needs it and we all use it to step up and down from the threshold so we don't care if it looks odd.

This shower grab bar is designed to provide safety and support in the shower, especially for seniors. Here are my evaluations: Pros- 1) light weight 2) stainless steel material ensures durability 3) 12 inches is a good size - This size is neither too short or too long. We tested the 16 inch and it was too long and it didn’t fit our shower dimensions. 4) easy to install 5) anti-slip grip - The textured surface provides a non-slippery surface especially in wet to soapy conditions. Cons: 1) Satin brushed definition is not properly defined here in the advertising unless if you view it side by side with another finish. The satin brushed nickel finish is not as shiny or polished. It has a slightly dull appearance which may not match the aesthetics of some bathroom decors that has a more polished look. Please see picture for this note. In the Amazon sellers page, the bathroom grab bar looks very shiny and polished but the actual item received is not so. ... show more

    • Incredibly Handy for The Shower!

I just had major surgery and these grab bars have been incredibly helpful during my recovery! They’re extremely well made and the textured portion of the bar is really nice when your hands are wet. We put one inside the shower and one just outside almost caddy-cornered from each other and it’s perfect. The placement gives me a bar to grab while in the shower and one to grab as I’m getting in or out of it. You will need a drill to install these and some general carpentry skills, so be prepared for that. At first when I got these, I was thinking they would be installed horizontally, but duh! They’re actually meant to be installed vertically, and it’s better that way because you can make sure these are installed in a stud for the most secure anchoring. As long as you or someone you know can confidently install these, you can’t go wrong with them! ... show more

Reviewing: "12 Inch Anti Slip Shower Grab Bar 2 Pack, Munzong Stainless Steel Bathroom Grab Bar, Satin Brushed Nickel Bathroom Balance Bar,Safety Hand Rail Support Elderly Senior Assist Handle" I ordered these for my mother's bathroom (she's elderly and severely disabled and I'm currently her live-in caregiver). Due to her mobility issues, we now have a combination of grab bars around the house - different types and sizes. I like these a lot because (1) the diameter is easy for her smaller hands to grab onto and (2) the etching does a good job of providing a grippy surface. We have some larger diameter, smoother grab bars, in different places, and my mother can still use those, but they don't fit in tight spaces the way these do. It's especially helpful because the bathroom is narrow, and these are small enough that they can be placed above where the walker fits through. These come with all the hardware necessary, although it's best if you can mount them where wall studs are. I'm really happy with these, and if this had been a regular purchase, I would be keeping them and leaving the same positive review I'm leaving today. ... show more

Apparently, getting old is no fun. My aging parent was having trouble getting on and off the toilet. So I picked up this 12 inch, anti slip, stainless steel grab bar from Munzong. It is a very helpful solution to give them something to grab onto and help get up and down as needed. Now mounting and installation are fairly simple and straight forward. Plan your layout and mark. Since the mounting points get bolted on and the caps slide down, you can really get accurate marks for drilling just holding in place and taking your time. I would have to say that it is sturdy. Part of the reason why is because I have a least some of the screws into wood studs. It comes with anchor kits but I always find for real strength, hit a stud if you can. Looks pretty good. Similar to other such grab bars. Good size and length. Quality stainless steel look and finish. But the important thing is that it provides some peace of mind. So I have no problem recommending this grab bar. ... show more
