  • Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC)-Automatically adjusting S8's system volume as the vehicle speed changes to compensate for the road&wind noise. Users can put memorable photos in the specified gallery folder and let them play automatically on S8's HD screen with only a tap. S8 enables 6 touch gestures supporting a 2-fingers/3-fingers tap to enter the multi-task menu quickly, switch between preset 9 EQ modes, adjust the screen brightness, etc., which improve operation safety during driving.
  • Dual Bluetooth chips allow S8 to have multi-connections with phone and other BT devices meanwhile. BT2 supports Bluetooth tethering network and BLE connection. BT1 comes with Qualcomm aptX HD codec - Enhanced codec supports 24-bit music quality over BT,you can hear even the smallest details in music (phone needs to support BT aptX HD codec). Built-in phone integration link supports wired/wireless Android Auto, plus wired/wireless CarPlay.
  • S8G2114PM applies IAH10D style (Integrated and Adaptive Head-unit of 10.1-inch Display), working with YO-FUNG vehicle-specific Installation Dash Kit (wiring harness, data interface, mounting kit). Over 200 models have the opportunity to complete the OEM factory-style installation. For few vehicles, the edge of the 10.1-inch display part may block the air vent, emergency switch, or other buttons located around, resulting in inconvenience. Continuous system firmware update is available from ATOTO.

    • This is not worth the money at all.
If I could give 0 stars I would!!! This was a total “throw the money out the window” purchase. This stopped working in a matter of a month, the screen wouldn’t turn on but the radio would randomly take calls in ? And the button lights will still turn on but not the screen. . I contacted customer support only heard of them once and they never responded back. I had to look for someone to fix my radio since they didn’t respond to me and I wasn’t planning on just letting it be there without functioning. End of story, the radio couldn’t be fixed it’s totally fried and they never responded for warranty. Now I lost the money and have no radio.     • Works great.... for about a year.
I put this in a classic car that I drive on weekends. It worked great for about a year and then one day it simply would not power up. All my wiring is good, 12 V power, accessory, etc., but the unit is dead. I liked it enough to buy another, but this time with the extended warranty. Fingers crossed... ... show more

This is my first review and going to be honest. First of all, their customer service is good. They would respond within 24 hours. The S8 Premium 10 inch unit is good. It has a large screen with big bezel around the edge. The glass screen with 10in screen is beautiful but the bezel is too wide for me to use on my 4th Generation 4Runner. I really liked everything but the bottom bezel was blocking my mileage range and clock LEDs. If the bezel was small, then it would have been perfect. Interface is pretty easy to use. It's basically an android tablet. I wish I was able to use it through hotspot but I couldn't due to my carrier blocking my hotspot off my phone. I didn't want to pay extra to my carrier. So, I use S8 as Android Auto. It has potential but I could not using it's full potential. In my opinion, it's better to use it under hotspot rather than Android Auto. If you by the front cam, FCam app is not the correct application for front cam. It's actually HDdvr. I was really confused what my dash cam was not working till I opened HDdvr. I think the unit itself deserves 3.5 stars but customer service makes it 4. However, I truly believe that the reviews are coarced to give 5 stars because Atoto give free stuffs. They even asked me to give them 5 stars if not they would not give me Steering Wheel Controller. NOT 5 STAR. MAYBE 3.5 FOR THE UNIT. ... show more

    • Good product for music but no good for phone calls.
Purchased this and installed on my car. I updated the firmware to latest. The car audio and carp play seems to work ok. But the phone call is quality is terrible. I have installed the external mic the unit also has an internal mic. I realize it is not juts me running into this issue with atoto. Some of them got some success by replacing the external mic with a new one from other brands but not definite. I feel if you have to take calls from car a lot then buy something else ... show more

****UPDATE**** Contacted customer support about an Android Auto issue on 7/30/22 and had a response within 12 hours. Fannie Z always has an answer and is quick to reply. Couldn't ask more from a company. This is my third Atoto stereo, the prior units were both A6 Pro’s. While the A6’s were great the S8 pro is a far superior unit. It is much faster and more responsive to touch inputs. The screen is much brighter and offers fantastic detail for its resolution. Both the A6 and S8 improved the sound in all three of my vehicles with factory speakers. In my past experience, aftermarket radios don’t play nicely with factory speakers and Atoto has managed to nail this part. The expandability options are fantastic; with four USB A connectors your options are limitless. A nice little touch added to the S8 is the option to add a factory logo to the startup screen. The backup camera TOTO AC-HD03LR 720P Rear view Backup Camera is a nice upgrade from a single camera backup system. It adds a virtual 3D picture of the vehicles surroundings at a fraction of the cost of a multi camera setup. Torque Pro is included and with a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter you can view real-time information from your vehicle. I was able to hook up my factory SWC control to the S8 however the documentation could have been better. I was able to locate a workaround after some searching. With Subaru there are two SWC wires and the system is resistance based. I originally wired it up per the manual and it would not work. The solution was to ground one of the two wires from the factory harness. This fixed the problem and I couldn’t be happier with the functionality. I see other reviews stating that their antenna wouldn’t connect or the unit didn’t fit in their dash. This is a standard Double Din unit. A din is 180mm X 50mm and the measurements are clearly posted on the specs page. Atoto cannot include every adapter for every application out there. I had to purchase an adapter for my Subaru antenna wire. I also purchased a mounting kit from a known manufacture which had to be slightly modified to fit in my vehicle. Take time, measure and research to find out what mounting and connection accessories are required for your particular application. I would also recommend to have it professionally installed. Finally I would like to touch on Atoto’s customer support. My S8 had a few quarks as I would call them but none of them were deal breakers. The EQ would randomly change sound profiles and firmware updates are not easy to find. I did sign up on Atoto’s website and registered my stereo a few months ago. Out of the blue Fannie from customer service reached out and asked how my experience was. I explained my issues were addressed the same day. It sometimes took me a day or two to respond to their questions but they always responded same day. Every issue I had was addressed. New firmware was sent and the option to turn off gestures from the gesture app solved the EQ’s random changes. I also asked if the possibility of having the rear view camera act as a rear dash cam and that suggestion was sent to the engineers for possible implementation. I am 100% satisfied with the S8 Pro and Atoto’s fantastic customer service. I highly recommend their products and will most certainly be purchasing from them again. ... show more

I have installed it in my 2018 dodge grand caravan, it works super well, I am very satisfied with this ATOTO radio, I have everything I want in one device, what more could I ask for, I love this radio and all the applications and functions work perfectly.

I am happy with my purchase of The S8 Premium. I have it installed in a 2017 Nissan Altima and I'm glad to share that this stereo is amazing! The Screen is really vibrant and clear, the built-in amplifier is great, and the performance is nice and smooth/snappy. The most important thing I like about this head unit is the customer support. They are really good and they don't take long to reply to any question you may have which is appreciated. Overall Im happy I went with this head unit instead of overspending elsewhere for and underspec'd product. ... show more
