I just want to say that I don’t usually leave reviews, but the quality of this camera is so remarkable I had to leave a review. Firstly, this is a “professional quality camera”! This camera has the Sony exmor sensor that gives stunning pictures in the daytime and at night! I was very impressed with the picture quality of this camera! It also has an OSD setup so you can adjust the camera for different lighting situations and mounting locations. It has a joystick that allows you to change the camera settings and it is very easy to understand. The camera is also very well made! The mounting bracket is very sturdy, and easy to mount. They even include a template for mounting the camera. Also included is a small philips screwdriver, an allen wrench, and screws and plastic anchors. The instruction manual is very well written, and easy to understand. Detailed explanations are given as to what the settings do and how they affect the camera picture. You will pay 3 times as much for a name brand camera that has all the features this camera has! The camera can be used from 2.8mm to 12mm for varying field of view situations. All in all, this is a professional grade camera! Note: When I ordered my cameras, older firmware cameras were sent to me. I could not get them adjusted properly due to the older firmware. I emailed Honic and explained the situation. I also communicated with their tech support people and explained the problems I was having. Their customer service agent contacted me the next day and told me they would be sending me the updated cameras!! I was pleasantly surprised! I would have to give Honic customer service and tech support an A+ on service! They responded quickly and took care of their customer! They stand behind their products! I would not hesitate to buy another Honic camera! Nice job guys! Update12/19/22 It has been two years now since I bought these cameras, and they are still working like the day I installed them. They have worked in temperatures from -20 F to +105 F and have never quit working!! I will be purchasing some more of these cameras very soon to add to my security system. I also found out that I can adjust the OSD settings from my Tiger Security DVR! They don't have to be adjusted at the cameras. However, the focus has to be done at the camera location. I hope Honic comes out with an electric focus that can be controlled from the DVR. That would be awesome! These cameras are commercial grade! The best I have ever used hands down! ... show more

This is by far the best camera value for a DVR based BNC style security system. I have tried a few different offerings and this camera I am now back to purchase for the 4th time. I am replacing many of my Swann 4k HD high end cameras with these where I am able to supply adequate power for the run. This camera is somewhat power hungry and cheap cables run more than 80 to 100 feet or more might require a power supply closer to the camera or upgrading to a higher quality cable (I have great success with a 300 foot run of (see image from Amazon) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N5NEBPB from Amazon as well, which works well with the power supply at the DVR. The day and night vision is the best I have found yet (see photos). The camera comes set for AHD and wide angle but it is easily adjustable to TVIHD, etc. and the lens can be manually zoomed in and refocused. I have generally just kept the default settings and it is a wonderful field of view with clarity. I am using this with a Swann 4k DVR with absolutely no issues. I also connected them to a ZOSI DVR system and it worked as well. The camera build and mount is of excellent design and materials, better than any others I have seen. They include a screwdriver in the box for adjusting the mount and an Allen wrench for the zoom and focus. Out of the box, the cameras I have received were already focused to wide view. Bottom line: One of the best built, quality DVR camera using BNC connection available. This is absolutely the best camera from the many I have tried out. The next closest is the Swann 4k cameras with PID, but no adjustable field of view and although the Swann has very good night vision, the Bright Clear Night Vision camera has phenomenal night vision. Buy this for one camera (like I did) and you might find yourself ordering more because the better vision (day and night) will stand out on the screen as compared to your existing cameras. Using quality cable is essential to getting high performance cameras to work at long run lengths if you have a 12 volt 5 amp adapter - see cable example in photo This camera rocks!!!!!!!! ... show more

    • Nice camera and strudy
I like that this camera mounts to your wall using 4 screws. It is very sturdy. It has adjustments for set the azimuth and elevation and locks in place well. The Zoom and Focus controls are a bit touchy but do the job. You need to connect a video monitor at the camera location to position, zoom and focus. Picture is clean for the most part. Nigh vision is very good. I can see way out into the street and all of my front yard. Good camera for the price with nice features. ... show more
