I didn't use these for balloon animals but they were perfect for my use. I used these to tie other inflated balloons and assemble a balloon arch. I have thick fingers and tying off inflated balloons is not something I can do easily. I saw a balloon arch video that used these type of balloons (260 balloons) to tie the inflated balloons together which was much easier than tying the inflated balloons themselves. I purchased these 260's to tie together fall-themed balloons for a garland. I didn't inflate them, but instead wrapped them around 4-6 connected/inflated balloons to join to another quad/six pack. They are super stretchy and perfectly colored to disappear into any arrangement or garland.
