My one ride was a lot of fun on the beach. But I don’t trust the tire brand now. Flat tire and tube in the rear. Bike is solid and folds nice and was comfortable to ride. Fixed tires. It was the small inner tube. I ordered the correct size for a three inch tire and love the bike.

My first E-Bike. I've had a 450W scooter for a couple months and just had to get a bike. I had to make a few minor fixes, but the first ride was nice. Rack bracket didn't match up, had to bend it into place. Front sprocket was a bit bent from shipping, the chain came off when I tried to pedal it. Evened it out with hammer & cardboard between them. Did not come back off during the test ride, which was some offroad with chunky roots. Over all, satisfied with first impressions of the bike. Main Cons: The multitool, while really cool, doesn't have the reach to tighten the stem screw; Got a set of separate wrenches for $8, keep it with the bike just in case along with couple other wrenches. Also the paint where the frame folds is creaking, & losing paint. Not a big problem; I did tighten the spring loaded connector a bit and it helped; Will have to touch up the paint with something durable. Minor Cons: Drilled new holes for front fender mount; It was pressing tight against the wheel, easy fix. My seat post spring came smashed all the way down, I had a softer seat that I put on & helped. Large battery's awesome, was just starting to lose the first bar when I was done really testing the motor, including uphill which was great. Of course the down side is if it dies on you, it's a bit more weight to tow but still rideable. They recommend not running it completely empty for battery life, but when it gets down close to the end. I put zip ties on all the cords where they had really thin ones that will break eventually. I did have one break line come in contact with the rear tire at one point; Just needed a couple zip ties. Adjustable handlebar height is awesome, & I love that it has a very sturdy front basket mount. Assist Modes; This kind of bike isn't the easiest to pedal unassisted, which I had assumed bc of the fat tires. It does pedal, it's just slow, which is fine. The Shimano shifter works great. 5 Assist Modes are great. I tried the option for 3 and also 9 levels but 5 is good. Assist levels 1-3 are mostly what I use. 4 and 5 if you wanna go real fast or climb a steep hill. It's my fault, but I almost ran my hand into a post bc of the Assist on a sharp turn. Have to be careful with the Assist from a stop, turning. I am pretty comfortable on it already but just gotta be careful with that delayed motor coming in. I love it tho. To access the options, You hold minus and plus together. I think they forgot to put this in the manual. Also what ft/lbs to torque the stem to; They say to torque it but there's no number. Brakes good, need to tighten the back a bit. ... show more
