This bike is amazing from day one it was easy to put together right out the box it's easy to charge it's easy to put together and fold when you have to put it away it goes about 37 on the road it goes about 50 mi round trip. It's extremely heavy duty and durable. The welds are strong and really nice. I've had it a few weeks now and all around excellent bike, I even had an issue with my basket ,my rear basket,missing the screws when I got the item in the mail, I called the company and they immediately mailed me out the screws I was missing. so the customer service in my opinion is amazing. I would say I would buy the bike again but,I think this bike's going to last me a very long time. ... show more

I've ridden the bike in total 150 miles now. It is a lot of fun, but some thinngs are different from advertised. Top speed and distance on battery are measured in wheel load without a driver. I was still able to get 35 mph on flat road. And distance travelled on 1 charge is about 20-30 miles. Easy to fold and perfect for small storage ... show more

    • rear brakes stopped working and is leaking.

After 30 miles on the bike, the rear brakes quit working and starting leaking hydraulic fluid. Rid star contacted me and is sending new brakes. Thank you!

This is a great bike, excellent acceleration, great range, just the right size. The only problem I have is the tires are let than ideal for city travel. In the first 400 miles of use I've got 3 flats, always the rear wheel. I mostly ride around town, and for the most part use bike lanes. After the last flat, I invested in tire armor.
