I Recently converted an upstairs space in my house to a 4th bedroom for my youngest son. I needed a closet for him and this seemed to be the best thing I could find when considering the trade offs between price and quality. I wanted real wood, but I did not want to spend 1000s of $$$$$$ either. This piece fit the bill perfectly!! I don’t think you will find anything else of this quality for this price. I can confirm this wardrobe is 100% real wood. There is not one single scrap of particle board or MDF. The finish is very nice, I ordered the mocha to match my sons other furniture and it matches great, the mocha looks in person just like in the pictures. Assembly wasn’t too difficult, I completed it by myself in 4-5 hours, I really took my time and used a screwdriver and hammer, no power tools because I did not want to strip or over tighten the screws. The pieces are held together by wooden dowels at first, then screwed together, you will not need any wood glue. Once assembled it is very sturdy, but you definitely need to secure it to a wall with the included hardware to prevent a tip over. All of my wood pieces and metal hardware lined up and fit perfectly, all the pre drilled holes lined up perfect, I did not have to cut or drill or modify anything. All of the wood pieces and hardware are labeled very well. The instructions aren’t the best, just pictures, so if you aren’t good at building things, you might struggle a bit, I had no problems. If you can’t build legos you probably can’t build this. Shipping was a little quicker than the original estimate. Came in 3 boxes via Fedex. Boxes were in excellent condition and everything inside was packaged well. I had one small dent/blemish on one piece of wood, but it is covered up behind a door, so no big deal. If you want something of better quality and already assembled, go to a furniture store and spend $1500 or more. If you want something less expensive go buy some particle board furniture and know it won’t last. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. You cannot beat the quality of it for the price. ... show more

Took hours to assemble, super well made unlike other ikea product made out of dust wood. Heavy & beautiful. My son helped me put it up & was a fun product. I definitely recommend. make sure it comes in 3 boxes which is a complete set.

The armoire came in three boxes and was very well packaged...no damage at all. It took some time to put together. I took my time doing so and would recommend not being in a hurry. It is entirely made of wood...stained pine. Real mahogany would have cost thousands of dollars, and particle board is heavy and tends to crumble when screwing metal into it. One big flaw: one of the shelves stuck out too much in the back and would have pushed the backboard out about a 1/4 of an inch. I had a table saw and so I could shave off the back end of that shelf. Considering all the pieces of wood, one flaw isn't too bad. The hardware is excellent quality. The instructions are all pictures, so you have to use your noodle to put the thing together. I would not recommend this product if you have never put anything together. Otherwise, go for it! ... show more

This piece truly is all wood, and you have to assemble everything (including the drawers). The hardware is neatly laid out and labeled. The instructions are mostly pictures. You absolutely need a drill, hammer, rubber mallet, and screw drivers to set this up with the least amount of frustration. I’d also recommend the assembler to be relatively experienced with putting furniture together, as you do have to make inferences out of some of the pictures in the drawings. The lock does work when installing the lock it’s 3 parts to it the lock is packaged without the black rubber piece that is packaged with the other packs of screws and wooden little parts that attached to the boards to hold it in place dnt forget to put that piece on the inside of the door before putting the last metal piece of the lock also you have to adjust the doors to make them fit and line up to do that u need to adjust the door hinges by adjusting the 2 center screws also not just the screws that are screwed into the wood doors but the 2 that are already on the hinges it self they already attached to the hinges prior to the screws that you add on and everything works fine and doors align very well going to need at least 2ppl and it took 3 hours in total for me and a friend ... show more

It looks as good in my room as it did in the picture. It came quickly. They offered excellent customer service. Assembly isn’t crazy difficult but takes at least 2 people. We don’t regularly do assembling and we’re elderly. If we can get it anyone should be able to. This is decent furniture and ethical manufacturers. Outstanding customer care. ... show more

List of PROS: None List of CONS: - Too pricey compared to similar - Hard to assembly. It took 7 hours for two people to put all together. Horrible assembly instructions. - It doesn't stand "quiet" unless you screw it on the wall - Low quality wood. It looks like it well "melt" when you touch it I have to make a couple of adaptations to have it set to resist at one year of usage. I wouldn't recommend it for no one. There are better similar products out there. The title and the description can mislead you. I didn't return because it would be a mess to return the parts all messed up as you couldn't put all neatly back inn the boxes. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUY.... ALWAYS. ... show more
