Features

  • THE LAST COATING YOU'LL EVER NEED - Our 100% Silicone products are made to last and don't require recoating every couple years, saving you money in the long run! Unlike many products on the market, our silicone products do not break down due to UV exposure or ponding water. This means with just one application, you can rest assured knowing that your investment will be protected for many years moving forward.
  • SINGLE COAT APPLICATION Single coat application is imperative if your goal is to save time and money. Many competitors chemistries have long cure times and require multiple coats. Our coating can be applied in just one coat and can be brush, roll or spray applied directly to a range of roof types. Most common include: EPDM Rubber Roof, TPO, PVC, Fiberglass, Spray foam, and Metal. If sprayed, you must use a pump capable of a 6,000psi minimum pressure.
  • COMPLETE WATERPROOFING Marlin Silicone Top Coat creates a completely waterproof membrane that wont shrink and stays flexible. It can be used to repair or prevent leaks.
  • HIGHLY REFLECTIVE & UV RESISTANT Marlin Top Coat is bright white, with a Solar Reflective Index of 113. This will significantly lower inside temperatures which means lower cooling bills in the summer!
  • COVERAGE This self-leveling coating is your go-to long term solution for preventing and/or stopping leaks. On average, 1 gallon of Marlin Top Coat should cover around 60 square feet. This product can be rolled, sprayed, or brushed easily and effectively meaning most jobs can be completed in one day!
  • PRODUCT WARRANTY Marlin is a company that stands behind the products we sell. We offer product warranties for many different applications.

  • 20 year old RV roof
Size: 5 Gallon Color: White
Worked great on 20 year old EPDM roof. I wish I had used this instead of using acrylic twice in the last six years. Levels very nicely leaving a glossy silicone rubber membrane. Don't get up there when wet, very slick. I expect this will look nice and last ten + years storing RV under RV port when not in use. ... show more

  • MARLIN COATINGS is an awesome product
Size: 5 Gallon Color: White
This coating is amazing. Does exactly what is says it will do. Very thick, like melted cheese, self leveling, applies easily. Just clean the roof very well, tape your seams, brush on around the air units and vents and roll on the rest of the roof with a medium knap micro fiber roller. I did my 35 ft motorhome for under $600 including 3 rolls of seam tape. Much cheaper and better than replacing a whole roof with membrane. What's better is that it's totally waterproof. A must for all rv's. ... show more

  • Excellent product
Size: 5 Gallon Color: Tan
Went on easily, sealed roof completely. less expensive than the other brands. Love the fact that it was available in colors other than white - both the 5 gal & 1 gal sizes.

  • Easy to use, seals well
Size: 5 Gallon Color: Tan
We re sealed our 5th wheel roof with this product and used paint rollers to spread it. It sticks well, levels out well, the only issue is it is easier to peel off if it does get ripped (which seems it wouldnt be easy to rip) It is definitely cool to the touch after sitting in the sun compared to our other roof material. We bought a 5 gallon for a 42’ 5th wheel with 5 slides and 1 coat covered the roof and the slides. We also purchased an rv shade for the roof, so we did not do more than one layer. ... show more

  • very easy to apply
Size: 1 Gallon Color: White
2007 Tiffin zephyr 45ft. needed to apply a good sealant over my fiberglass roof and after many reviews I chose Marlin. It was a breeze to apply and looks great, started with 7 gal. and ended up with enough to apply a second coat. I first pressure washed the roof, then cut around all ares were I could not use a roller, when that dried, I rolled out the roof dipping the roller in the bucket and applying, that took about 2 hours. As a test I went up after a few days and can't peal any ares up,this stuff really sticks tight, and should last many years. ... show more

  • Covers and seals RV roofs well
Size: 5 Gallon Color: White
This was a project I had been dreading but I finally got up the gumption to do it—and thankfully it wasn’t nearly as hard as I had expected. We have a 32-foot fifth wheel with some years on it, and the roof has sun damage and cracking, so it was critical to coat it before it starts leaking. Rubber roofs will leak sooner or later if you don’t keep them coated and the joints sealed. I used 5 gallons of the Marlin coating for the project, and mixed it with a drill attachment for mixing mortar; a paint mixing attachment should also work. Proper cleaning is of course the key to good adhesion so we scrubbed down the roof with a good scrub brush, TSP and bleach. This took two of us a couple of hours. Then it had to dry, which took a few days because thunder storms kept re-wetting the roof. I taped around the vents and gutters to keep from getting the coating where I didn’t want it, and then cut in around the openings and where the EPDM rubber rolls over the sides of the trailer using a 4-inch brush. Be sure to seal all joints especially well. Don’t make the same mistake I made with the brush: get a decent brush even though you’ll have to toss it afterwards because the cheap brushes will constantly shed. This is very thick material and it’s a hassle to have to pull out the hairs the brush has shed. This part took a couple of hours. Next came the main coating, which went fast using a roller with a pole. Be careful not to paint yourself into a corner! I poured out a little out at a time and spread it with the roller. Put it on thick, and be sure to keep the bucket covered so it doesn’t thicken up on you before you can get it spread well. This part only took about an hour. The result is a smooth, shiny roof that looks great and protects your RV. The only issue we’ve had is that it’s slick when it gets wet. ... show more
