    • Durable Fabric-Will Work for My Needs
6/6/2023 Update: Just wanted to let everyone know that now that we've been using the canopy (on our own pergola) for a bit, we're finding that even the slightest breeze blows it up in the air like a sail. We have tried various methods to weight it down while still having it be functional (i.e. able to slide to block the sun) but have failed in our efforts. I think we are going to put some grommets on the sides to fix it in place on one end so we can still adjust it on the other. It will still billow up where it isn't fixed to the top of the pergola but at least the whole thing won't be raising up like it's about to take off! Luckily, the pergola is solidly fixed to the deck. I ordered this canopy as a replacement for one on a metal pergola that is similar to the one depicted in the item description photo. Ours has a canopy on rollers inside a rail that you can pull to open or close it. It is difficult to do if you have a table and chairs under the pergola because the strap is in the middle and no one but my husband is tall enough to reach it from the side while leaning over the table. Additionally, over a few years time, it has become badly stained and mildewed and no matter what I wash it with, it will not come clean. This year, it has also begun to rot. I like the new canopy because it ties at the four corners and I can just slide it to the position I want in order to block the sun. I don't have to lean over the table. The fabric is smooth and seems strong and durable. Over time, I imagine it will fade as I don't think it is sunbrella fabric and the sun does a number on everything that isn't designed to withstand it's strong rays. However, this canopy should be good for a few seasons. I think it could be improved by using fabric that allows water to flow through because when water stands on top of the canopy it causes the fabric to mildew and rot. I know some people don't mind that the water sits on top because they want to sit under it while it's raining without getting wet. That's fine, too. I'm just pointing out that at some point, this canopy will likely have a mildew stain issue and will need to be replaced. Still, for the price, it IS a nice canopy and should last us a few seasons so I'm happy with that. It does have an odor to it which will probably dissipate after a day or so. This review is for Warmally 10x10FT Pergola Outdoor Patio (10x10- Cover only). UPDATE: Leaks at the seams when raining. And upon installation found it wasn't a true 10' x 10' Actually closer to 9' x 9' I could have dealt with that, but it leaking doesn't work. Too bad as the sun protection is great. Beautiful cover. Nice neat seams, large coverage with a strong, soft, true color material. Has ties on each corner to hold it in place. Highly recommend. ... show more

We have a wooden pergola swing that we added this to to really top it off. At first the swing was just plain wood, nicely constructed by the people who lived here before us. Then (my awesome husband) we added fresh stain, lattuce, planted morning glories to grow up the side, a wind chime, outdoor lights and now THIS! The pergola cover tops it off and protects the top from the elements and falling debris, while protecting the swing (and people swinging) from the sun, making a supreme shady spot for hot summer days.     • Great for shad but tie strap ripped off in a heavy storm
I used this on the wooden pergola on my back deck. The shading of the item was great and made sitting under it on our patio table very comfortable. We had a large storm that came thru and the wind ripped the tie that attaches the cover to the structure off. With the tie being ripped there is no way to keep the body attached to our wooden frame. I have tried to sew it back on but the tie is very narrow and is not holding well. The cover itself is waterproof which keeps the table and chairs dry. I would recommend a better fastener for the cover in the future. ... show more

I don't have a pergola but I do have an open framed structure that needed a canopy. This absolutely fit the bill. The material is like a cross between canvas and a super thick shower curtain. It feels sturdy and like it will last through the elements for many years. I mostly just wanted some shade from the blazing So Cal sun during summer months and am looking forward to getting it with this new canopy. Warmally 10x10FT Pergola Outdoor Patio (10x10- Cover only) Pergola type canopy cover. Canopy/sunshade just flips over and covers your Pergola. It is retained on the long sides with tie down straps. Additionally, the sides have a pocket sewn into the canopy where a rod could be inserted if your Pergola supported slide rods. Even though some of the images show that the Canopy is split down the center to reduce its billowing when the wind blows. The model I received did not have the split center section. Seams and tie down straps appear to be well sewn and sturdy. Material is not a heavy canvas material. But a material thickness between canvas and a light fabric. Will see if it holds with our spring winds and hailstorms. Update: Tie downs did pull out with our first heavy wind. ... show more

I put up this waterproof outdoor pergola cover today over my wooden frame back patio and tested it with a garden hose. It held up with a garden hose and I am hopeful it will do the same with summer showers.
