First, let me say I'm impressed with the amount of bass you get for the price. But then it comes with a bunch of extras. The wire, low pass filter, fuse, remote volume control. Seems like a great value. The size is also impressive. That it could be mounted under the seat (depending on what you drive). Overall I'm happy with this. It's been a while since I've purchased car audio equipment and it's convenient to get everything for one low price. I think the only negative is that the light stays on. It does have a remote input next to the 12v input that allows you to turn it off if connected to a switch or your stereo's remote power out. ... show more

    • Decent woofer, if overrated

I put this in my Subaru that has a terrible sound system. It does a good job of filling in the low end, but it's not going to shake your mirrors off. It's nice that it's a complete kit with everything you need to install it. All the components worked just fine, and you only need minimal knowledge to install it properly. However, this is not an 800W speaker. The math just doesn't work out. There is a 25A fuse in the amp, and you're running it off 14.4V (max voltage from the alternator). W = VxA. So 25x14.4 = 360. And that's peak ideal everything is maxed out power. I've had true 600W systems that are truly able to shake your mirrors off (couldn't keep my rearview on), so there's no way. Ok, overall, this is a decent speaker to just fill in the low end of a lacking speaker system, and it sounds pretty decent. It's also pretty inexpensive, and I think it's worth the price for a space saving all-in-one sub. But don't be fooled by the high power rating. ... show more

I got this for my husband who is really into cars and Stereos and all that manly type stuff LOL so I knew he had to have this! It came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad even down to the measurements. There were no missing pieces in the directions were clear and easy to read. This is very heavy duty and definitely waterproof which is awesome in case your friend spills a drink under your seat in the car LOL. Since all the measurements were correct this fit exactly where I thought he would put it! He said it was super easy to hook up and wire everything in. Very user friendly and everything fit like a glove! Once everything was hooked up and ready to go this really has leveled up his whole music and stereo setup in his car! Super high quality subwoofer and everything sounds perfect as it should! This is a great bang for your buck and definitely a high quality product! 10/10 for sure ... show more

I don't need to shake my neighbors, just want to add some bass sound to my weak sound system, and this fits the bill. It's compact and fits nicely under my seat. Bass speaker output is related to speaker size. If the speaker is half the size, it will take twice the power to produce the same output. I don't expect this unit to rattle the windows, but it does a great job of adding more fullness and punch to the music. Audio is one my favorite things to review its subjective, but bass is bass if its thumping most can agree that if it thumps and regardless of the brand you would want it if you can get good bang for your buck unfortunately this time around, I am not in agreement that is this a great deal. It claims 800watts (must be peak) more like 140-to-200-watt rms if that but the fuse is 25 amps I have even seen some with 15amp fuses under another label. The wiring kit is very cheap not the highest quality that is also to be taken into account at this price range. The subwoofer will add a bit of rumble, but you aren't going to get much out of it, your mileage may vary probably would work okay in a compact car or golf cart but I would not recommend this, id keep saving and for something else. ... show more

This subwoofer is quite compact at 10 inches. It's supposed to provide 800 Watts of power, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I have not run a multimeter through it, but the sound output is not as high as I would expect for a 800 Watt system. Speaking of which, you need to make sure that your car can power these systems, as you can't just plug wires into it and then hope for the best. You need to research if this is compatible with your car or your existing sound system, otherwise it can cause a short circuit in your vehicle. This one comes with installation parts and cables, so you can figure that part out easily, but you are responsible for knowing whether or not your alternator will provide the appropriate amount of power or if the rest of the wiring is compatible with this subwoofer. ... show more
