The lesson that I have learned from using this was that, don't try to set this up by one person! As the headline says, this product is too light and too thing, any breeze can blow it away so it will lose the function to protection. Unless you get two people, so one can hold this while you taping it on the ground. Therefore, speaking of durability, I would definitely say NO to it. As for easiness to break, you can only tape it once, or just keep any tape far away from the sheet. Otherwise, you will find yourself digging holes everywhere Also, try to be gentle while standing on it. I broke it many times when taping and walking on top of the sheet. You have to be careful unwrapping or they rip on the seams. Can maybe use as a dust cover but as a drop cloth for paint they are not thick or durable enough. Don't know some of the reviews can say they don't rip.

    • Worked well to cover items for roach control spray

I bought these because I had a two-bedroom apartment where we were beginning to see roaches (I have been roach-free for a long time, so their return was very unwelcome) and needed to cover everything I owned under plastic for the spraying, piling it in the middle of the room. This items worked for this very well. The intended bombing didn't happen, but I had plenty of plastic cover to deal with the entirety of my possessions and I could have covered all my furniture as well if I'd had to, I only used five of the plastic wraps this time and have put them away for the next time I have to bomb. Definitely a good answer to this issue, and I am sure it would have worked well for painting as well. If I had any complaint (and I'm not complaining) is that using it to cover furniture and items I suffered a tendency for even very small drafts to lift up the plastic covers. But that's not the item's fault, just my own thing, I wanted to only cover down to floor with no leftover and probably should have used all ten sheets on this job instead of just the five. Oh, well! This plastic covering worked well for the purpose of protecting my furniture during a move. My only dislike was that I didn't read the description in regards to the thickness. It was very thin plastic but we made it worked by doubling it. I would buy it again. It was affordable.

I needed a large quantity of drop cloths at a reasonable price. I’m still waiting on my sprayer but opened these up to inspect. They seem plenty large enough to cover everything in my kitchen around the island I’m spraying. The thickness seems fine as long as your not continually walking on them with work boots and twisting your feet. Others mentioned they rip taking them out of the package but that has not been my experience. ... show more

It's really large to cover most floor. I have 4 plastic covers down on really large basement Finished living room. However... it does get torn up pretty easy! We have to tape torn spots together. It doesn't bleed through the plastic cover, but if you have way too much like spill paint can, then I feel it might be bleeding through. We have had a spot where there was little too much paint spilled on and it does get through just a bit. We have had a lot of paint stains all over and don't have any problems with it. Not using this for painting, but using it to cover machinery after it has been cleaned as getting ready to sell some very large machines soon. It covers the machines and takes care of keeping it all clean. Does not get moved around a lot, so there is no testing of its performance, but it is performing this other task very well and yes, I would buy it again for what I am using it for and would use it for painting tarps as well.
