The main thing I like is that these straps (and their hooks) have held up better to the weather than some other "rubber" straps. Other similar straps have cracked badly during shorter periods of outdoor use; these have not (yet). I was concerned initially because the Amazon listing had stated these are made of EDPM rubber, but neither the actual package nor the straps themselves mentioned the EDPM - which I understood to be the more weather-resistant type. On the downside, these straps are only adjustable in increments of 6" or so. Some other adjustable straps are more finely adjustable in increments of 1"-2", making those more adjustable, and thus more versatile than these. However, those other straps also have been less durable than these. ... show more
