  • Keep the weeds out
Color: 10Pcs-6.6x3.3ft
I often plant a garden in my backyard during the summer, and I always end up with tons of weeds. This year I decided that I would move to a new spot in my yard and put down a barrier before planting anything. This was very easy to work with, and I was able to cut it into two parts to cover the garden area I cleared out. So far, I have several lettuce varieties and some tomato plants growing out there, and I've only had to pull out a couple of stray weeds that have found their way in. It's been a far more pleasant experience than past gardening attempts. ... show more

  • Good barrier, feels a little thin
Color: 4Pcs-6.6x3.3ft
Gets the job done albeit feels slightly thinner than some heavy duty ones I have seen at the store. Still I would say it is durable and provides really good spacing for plants and a drip line as well.

  • Not very thick weed barrier
Color: 4Pcs-6.6x3.3ft
This product had no branding or instructions. Just plastic filled with polypropylene. This type of plastic (weaved strips of plastic) covering feels like it will shred apart and litter my garden with tons of small bits of plastic which I want to avoid. My garden tends to be freeform as opposed to planted at exact distances apart like a farm does. I add very different plants that require varying amounts of space (think tomatoes vs Tuscan kale). I was hoping that the holes weren't pre-cut on this polypropylene and that I could cut my own holes. This would be good for strawberries with the spacing and the heat from the black polypropylene. It's still winter here, and will try these in the spring, but get the feeling that this isn't for gardeners like me. ... show more

  • Standard weed fabric, decent value
Color: 10Pcs-6.6x3.3ft
It’s not much to write about with this. It is what it says it is which is pretty basic weed barrier. I’ve been using these to kill off a portion of my lawn so I can replace it with more sustainable clover. And I’ve also used these to the bottom of garden beds and haven’t seen anything poke through yet so it’s doing its job ... show more

  • Use these to take back your garden from the weeds
Color: 10Pcs-6.6x3.3ft
No matter how much soil work I do before getting the garden growing, it seems there's always a week or so when I'm either out of town, or the weather is just to nasty to go out and pull weeds. I'm in Georgia, where crabgrass gets into everything, and within a week or so, it becomes well established. Once that happens, it's difficult to use garden tools to get it back under control, especially when you're dealing with hundreds of feet of rows, and the garden plants prohibit using equipment. If you've ever tried to pull crabgrass from red clay, you'll know the pain. Pull it, and the roots remain and the plants will come back with a vengeance. I prefer not to use pre-emergent or other chemical weed controls, so landscape fabric is a great option. This particular product is nice because you can easily deal with the individual pieces, and not have to roll out huge lengths of it, or make holes for transplanting things. The fabric keeps weeds down, and also keeps plants from having a lot of direct contact with the soil. This is great for strawberry plants, which tend to pick up disease from the soil. These are also sized really nicely to use with raised beds. I was able to place these over my 2X4 raised bed, and use rubber straps with hooks to secure them around the planter. if you need a weed barrier or substitute for fresh mulch, this is a great product to consider. It's more convenient than bulk rolls, and the pre-scored holes make planting tidy rows easy enough. I can't wait to get my watermelons and squash growing with these sheets of landscape fabric. I also like that these are the woven type, since the non-woven fabrics tend to allow roots to grow into them, which causes tearing and bits of polymer to remain in the soil. I've used this type of fabric many times, and at the end of the season, it lifts off the soil nice and clean, leaving no debris. ... show more

  • Good quality
Color: 10Pcs-6.6x3.3ft
This is better quality than what I usually buy. I try to put fresh weed barrier down every year when money allows. We didn't do it last summer and used the garden fabric from the year prior. This past summer, weeds were INSANE. I had so many weeds in my yard, it was worse than it's ever been. I had several dozen locusts popping up all over my yard, not just in the garden but in the grass and flower beds as well. The only thing I can do to remove them from the garden is pull them when they are small and hope I get all of the root. I can't use chemicals in the garden if I want to keep it 100% organic. This weed block is thicker than the traditional garden fabric I usually get at our local home improvement store. Since it already has holes, it's going to be easier to plant when the time comes. I have 7 raised garden beds in my garden area but I'm adding 2 more this spring. I also have 2 small raised garden beds and 7 huge round barrels I also plant in. Each year, I plant the following in my garden. Tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, radishes, sweet potatoes & eggplant. I've also grown bush beans, snow pea's, watermelon, spaghetti squash, acorn squash & melon. I am planning on expanding my garden in order to grow more this year. I want to add brussels sprouts, broccoli & cauliflower (if I can) and a couple different lettuce for my parrots and rabbit. Although this garden fabric isn't enough to cover all the beds (onions & potato beds don't get garden fabric), it's a start. When I need more, I will most definitely order from this seller again. I am very happy with this garden fabric and recommend to others. ... show more

  • feels durable
Color: 10Pcs-6.6x3.3ft
This weed barrier fabric feels pretty thick and I like that it has evenly spaced holes for plants. I do wish that the holes were perforated, but not punched out though so I won't have to worry about weeds coming through holes that I do not end up using. It feels like a durable fabric, but since it is too cold to plant, I will not know how well it holds up to a summer growing season for a while. If I have any problems with this fabric, I will come back and add that to my review. Overall, it seems like it will be a good replacement for the fabric I have used in the past. I am looking forward to not needing to cut the holes out myself this season! ... show more
