I have used them to freeze leftovers and they hold up nicely. Great bags for packing snacks as well. I clean mine by hand and dry with a towel. This is a great set of bags. Love the designs, the material is nice and thick, and most of them are dishwasher safe. The biggest size do NOT work in the dishwasher. The tops of the bags stick together or fold over. They definitely need to be hand washed. But that is really my only complaint. Make sure you get some sort of drying rack too, otherwise if they come out of the dishwasher still a little wet, you'll want somewhere to let them finish drying out if you don't want to dry them by hand. I bought a small wooden drying rack and that gets the job done. *upon taking pictures to add to this review, I did notice some slight discoloration on one of the bags, probably from putting some sort of tomato based food in the bag. As far as holding food, I use these for my kids school lunches and I put all kinds of fruit and veggies in the smallest bags, sandwiches and things like chips/crackers/pretzels in the medium size bags, and I use the largest bags for leftovers. I've frozen food in them and they held up nicely. Food stays fresh for about a week in the refrigerator, similar to my other storage containers. I haven't microwaved anything in them yet but they are supposedly microwave safe. The fact that I can run them through the dishwasher, makes me believe that it's possible though. Overall, I have been using these bags for a few weeks now and I've been impressed with their durability, the ease with which I can clean them, and their cute prints. Washed in dishwasher on delicate cycle with no heat dry to reduce the smell of packaging/plastic before using. Half of the bags were fine, but unfortunately some bags wrinkled up and the zipper areas distorted and no longer line up/seal completely. I love these bags so much and want to order more. They are super durable and not made of cheap material. The closure seals without any leakage so far. They're eco friendly and I don't have to keep using the plastic throw away baggies. The food stays fresh and cold for hours. I haven't used them in the freezer yet. But I use them everyday for lunches. The only thing I dislike is when I'm running behind after washing them it's hard to find a way to let them air dry so I find myself in a hurry trying to dry them right away after washing them. I do wash them by hand. I probably won't wash them in the dishwasher even though they say they are dishwasher safe. I would recommend them just for the price. I like a good value for my money and this hit them all on target. I have wanted reusable baggies forever and I'm so happy I bought them. ... show more
