The Wi-Fi is resetting constantly and won’t connect CarPlay. It worked great and had good sound until that happened. I tried factory reset and nothing is working still. It sees full signal power start’s connecting and then the Wi-Fi turns off.

    • Fellow star 3+ 64 android head unit
The media could not be loaded. Only get a 2+ 16 or higher gig version I got the 3+64 version and the power and speed are great. Small learning curve to get setup but I contacted Amazon support by clicking on my orders, selecting the stereo I bought and clicked get product support and asked for a link to seller to get a pdf of the head unit manual. There is a built in manual in the stereo too. If you hook this up and there’s no sound, you will need to either bypass your factory am like I did in my 07 Tahoe with Bose system. You can get a line out adapter, or retain onstar adapter- does same thing or YouTube bypass Bose amp in car and cut the wires and install head unit and amp if you want. I just had a local stereo installer install for $200 in North Carolina but I could have done it myself with time and YouTubing. It’s not exactly as easy as an android tablet but not hard either. Stereo has plenty of sound and usage power with no lag. A 1+ 16 gig version will lag n crash. Get the 2+ or 3+ version if you can afford it. If not get a 1+ and jyst wait a few seconds more to let apps load. Very nice unit and looks very nice. I also ordered the stickers for buttons that were scratched on my air condition and head unit and my setup inside looks awesome now with this head unit. If you have an external hard drive unit hooked up to usb, you want to disconnect it before starting stereo, it can cause it to crash, stereo tries to boot from hard drive. There is a reset button that lets you reboot stereo above stereo power button, use a number 2 pencil or anything like a small wire to press softly to reboot. don't waste your time or money on the cheaper 1gb ram/12gb they are unusably slow and mostly broken right out of the box. I got the 3/32gb with 4g it actually works fairly well ( I don't use it for games but it surfs the web well) 4g works with t mobile ( if you don't move when you actually Do get a signal) car play for android works decently, there is a noticable lag at times but it works fairly reliably. Great sound quality with dsp eq. All in all for the price this is an excellent radio ... show more

3gb ram, and 32 GB ROM, just right for me. I had bought one of the cheaper units and I had to send it back. This one's working really well, had the play around a little bit adding a new launcher, but it seems pretty good. Have only had it for a month but we'll see how long it lasts

1/4 page rear camera "manual" in only paper with unit. Carton has no name of maker, except "Made in China". Fellowstar webstore in amazon sells general Chinese toys, cosmetics, clothes, OTC drugs, stuff sold by dollar stores. Fellowstar.com is blocked by my browser, even if it exists. So even if it is excellent device it seems to lack any maker support, any possibility of documentation or service. Metal back enclosure has very small volume, perhaps conduction of heat to metal enclosure provides good cooling? If fan is required, what happens with dust clogging internal parts? What are the 2 cut coaxial cables on camera plug? Per letters cast in metal enclosure the wifi & "5G" antenna is a 2 cm plastic stub, partially protruding from metal enclosure. Power has not been connected for lack of any info on connecting to brake, reverse lamps & such. If Fellowstar does not provide more info, it will be returned. I like getting manuals, wiring info & more on web but guessing web address is hope less. ... show more

So nice had to buy it twice. Bought the 3gig version for both my cars. Works fast and very responsive. Bought prepaid simcard for my weekend car and Tmobile data only simcard on my daily drive. Purchase this for my vehicle because I have digitized my movie collection. My intent was to use the USB drives to watch my movies all worked well for about 6 months and then it stopped recognizing that it even had a USB.
