Bought it for winter, so far so good. It is easy to assembly and the material is pretty solid, the size is perfect for my sedan but I think it is good for SUV as well. I have not tested it during the snow yet, only a few raining days. But I feel confident for the snow day as well.

    • Wobbly frame
First of all, this came in one package which was over a 150 pounds. Just know that going in second. My package arrive pretty much intact. Except for the ends, which was expected, some components of the frame were. Dented and bent inside the box. But I don't think it was enough to be structurally incompetent. One of the longer pipes was bent on 1 side and 1 of the feet whereas bent, but I went ahead and used them. We'll see how they hold up. The joints all fit together nicely. But there's a lot of wobble to them. You're gonna want to brace this If you can with additional guy ropes. Even then, i'm not sure how strong it will hold up time will tell. This one is replacing similar awning canopy that I had and it outlasted a hurricane, but the fabric only lasted about a year before the elements took their toll On it. This one is guaranteed for 3 years and that was one reason why I purchased it. Edit******finally got it put up. Top had 2 holes in it from shipping. Have to buy additional ground anchors and longer ropes to properly secure it. Further Edit******** It took me purchasing 12 trailerhouse style screw in the ground anchors to stabilize this but I am happy to say it is now stable. The seller reached out to me and offered a refund which I gladly accepted. Time will tell as far as the longevity but because of the refund, I no longer have any skin in the game other than the $40 in anchors I purchased ... show more

The size I pick is perfect for my backyard I wrote this review in after two months we go though a lots of rain and bad weather, this garage still strong!     • Came with cuts in tarp, wrong screws, and dented poles.

This expensive and giant tarp comes in a very large box that probably would take two people unless if you have a decent amount of muscle mass to lift and move. I get the thing and open it and notice a couple of poles are dented but because it's such a large box and UPS would have to take it back or you need a large flatbed truck to return it I decided to go along with it but once I got everything set up and was ready to put the top on which is the tarp it turns out that they must have had a box cutter or something go along because there are serrated lines in the tarp which allow you to poke your fingers through which are not purposefully there as they are slightly irregular but they follow a line pattern across the tarp and go through multiple layers so the tarp and the carport are rendered useless. The screws are also the incorrect screws according to the directions. A substantial waste of time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It has been in use for 2 weeks and so far it is working well. My house is next to a forest and the wind can be strong at times. Therefore, my husband thinks rocks are safer than sandbags. One downpour followed its installation, and it survived.
