As a precision machinist for over 40 years I can say this carbide indexable tool works as it should! The inserts fit correctly and the geometry is correct. The quality is good and the tool should provide reliable service for years.

    • Machined incorrectly?
When I looked at and mounted, the tip angle pointed slightly to the left, as though the slot was mis-milled? I expected a completely neutral insert holder. Possibly just a one off but.........

    • Not what I hoped for.
It came up in my search for insert chamfering. I was hoping that I could use it for a chamfer tool but I had to grind relief into it. It still didn’t fit the bill. Decent tool for the money otherwise.

Ordered this specifically for chamfering on my lathe and so far it works great. I've found 400-600 RPM to be the sweet spot without chatter on my 16" lathe with CXA tool post.
