They are light but have just enough weight, the length and width (where your fingers grip it) is similar to a ballpoint pen, so they feel very natural in your hand. The colors and patterns are even prettier in person. The blue and pink ones are swirled with clear. The metal attachments are high quality and absolutely perfect. I am fairly new to diamond painting and was fortunate to find this set and give it a go. I had been using the basic pen with a squishy, but this set was ideal for me. I now use these exclusively. I put a different tip on each end and keep them all in a silicone, slotted soap dish for easy grabbing while working. I love all the tips! I did end up replacing the metal single placer with one from a standard pen and that works even better for me. They take both wax and putty easily. They're easy to clean out and refill when necessary. I also love the little case for the tips that came with the set. So pleased I found this one - it was a game changer! ... show more

Don't bother shopping around, buy now! This set was purchased for my daughter who is very anxiously trying to finish her diamond painting with the single gem tool that the painting came with. The moment she found out about the tool sets, she was determined to buy one. So I got her this tool kit. Not only is this set pretty, but it's worth every penny. I love these so much and the pen is beautiful but it’s difficult to put the multiplacers in without there being a gap of space still there. They work super good, the fit isn’t that amazing, but the pen is super comfortable to hold!

I really like the resin pens. They are nicely weighed and balanced so it is comfortable to use on either side. I did have a hard time taking off the plastic tips that came pre-attached. I had to use pliers and nearly made them unusable, but putting/replacing the metal tips is easy. I will actually buy a second set so all of my tips can be on a pen at once. The only downside is that the bigger tips (sizes 7-10) are pretty heavy and will start to hurt my hand/wrist after a while. But that is understandable since it is made from metal. ... show more

I really love this, it’s a step up from what the plastic tips I started off using, worth every penny. I was not expecting it to come with so many different heads, plus extra plastic heads. When I first started using these, they weren’t going into the hole all the way, as shown in the photo it comes with extra rubber rings to keep the heads in place, what I figured was much easier and still holds in the place is I took the top rubber ring off so it can squeeze in the pen snug, because the heads don’t 100% go in all the way unless forced but taking a rubber ring off made it much easier and it goes in snug. I like that it comes with extra rings just in case one breaks. One of my best diamond painting accessories purchases. It comes with so many different sized head shapes, definitely a step up from plastic tips and I believe these metal heads will last longer then the plastic. Buy it, you won’t regret it. None of the tips would fit in the pen, but I had several other of the "cheap" pens that I put the stainless steel tips in, so I'm good to go. The tips seem sturdy and should work just fine. The tips fit in the main pen that I use, which is shaped exactly like the one that comes with this kit.
