I am very disappointed and will be returning 😔. ***Update: the wheel works! Yayy!! Thing for others to note, it takes a few seconds when you first 'accelerate' on the pedal for it to start to spin. If it doesn't start right away, keep pushing down and wait for it to go. I haven't used it yet because I'm waiting on clay, but it seems to hold speed once I get it going, and is easy to change rotation direction and speed. Got this wheel to start with and it was absolutely wonderful! Definitely good for projects 2.5 lbs and under! It’s also a shorter wheel and for me i got the “brent booties” from clay-king.com to give it some height!
