We got a camera because a lot of neighbors are catching people on their cameras checking car doors and stealing things. After some research and coming across some terrible cameras (poor battery, poor night vision, terrible app), I came across this one. Just installed it yesterday. Very happy with the image quality. What's truly amazing is all the options they give you, giving you full control of your camera. You can lay out motion detection zones, How long video records, and lots of options to save power. After a day of recording I call see a history of my front driveway. The camera also has a wide view, and adjusting to the perfect position is very easy. Great security camera so far. I have this camera mounted on my boat, and it is very good for monitoring movement on the dock. The PTZ motion detection is good, but perhaps not quite as sensitive as it might be even at the highest settings. Night vision is very good, though I do not like that it alerts upon detection with two red lights that might get the intruder's attention. This camera is only good for me when no one knows it's there. I have an SD card which allows recording, but it is clumsy to get that recording off of your phone and on your computer for storage or sharing. Lastly, the setup is quite simple, but the manual is outdated and intuition is your best guide to setup and operation. The settings and pages on the app do not match the manual in all cases. At this price point, it is a good performer with good features; being able to get a live picture anytime I see a storm coming is fantastic. ... show more
