The dual compression compartments absolutely make a difference, and the extraction level is so incredibly high. On top of all that, the mechanical design allows for excellent leverage at the moment of extraction. I have not had to squeeze really hard to yield a good amount of juice. The contraption is well weighted, and that provides the needed leverage and ease of manipulation. It is a piece that will last for decades to come.
