I am in my 60s and decided to get back into bicycling for the first time in 40 years. I did not want to spend over $300 on a road hybrid bike so decided against going to high-end bike shops. The only bikes in my price range that were available in big-box stores were mountain bikes. I was hesitant to purchase a bike online because I could not "test ride" it. I also did not want to assemble a bike having never done so. I looked at several bikes on Amazon and decided on the Zukka 700C for under $250. It arrived a day early and was packaged well. Assembly was stressful and took me about two hours. The instructions were useless because they were poorly translated from Chinese and did not provide detail or illustrations. Luckily I had another bike available to use as a "model" so that I could visually match my Zukka components. The assembled bike (champagne color) looks nice other than the "rainbow" motif on the center bar that made it look like a little girl's bike; I covered the rainbow with stickers. I have been riding the bike for nearly two months. For the first week the front disc brake rubbed against the tire; a biking friend told me this would stop after a breaking-in period and he was right.
