Does a nice job, quiet and easy to grip. Only thing I’d say bad is the speed dial should have notches, the dial is right next to your hand and i find as i work the tool it can come in contact with your wrist and changes the speed very easily

    • Its the real deal. Well built, looks great and worked flawlessly.
I was hoping all the good reviews I had read were real. Sure enough they are! It came with good instructions and a extra set of contacts. The variable speed work well and the unit just feels solid and well built. Plenty of power and never bogged down or acted in anyway like it was labored. The only reason I didnt give it a solid 5 was because the pads are not 5 star pads. They are good, but not as good as a premium pad and are on the small side for a 6" pad. The orange pad had damage and a couple of small tear outs after a few minutes of use on the back of a guitar. I have no idea how it was damaged as the guitar was smooth as silk and had been sanded flat and semiglossed with up to 7000 grit paper. Other than that everything I have done with this RO polisher has been great and the more I use it the better I like it. It seems heavy at first, but it is well balanced and one hand operation was easy and predictable. The soft start and soft stop are excellent features that allow you to get a grip on things and have zero surprises about the direction its going to go. The finished product after a 4 step series for a poly finish is "glass". I used Meguiars U compound and polish to be on the safe side and avoid burn thru on my first project and was not disappointed. I will use other compounds I have after I become more familar with the pads, as I have only used microsoft bonnets in the past. The finished product looked as good as my 10" cotton wheeled buffer. I have other buffers and polishers that I have literally wore out and was hoping to find something that didnt break the bank. I believe my friends this polisher is worth every penny and a lot more than I gave for it. I'm a Happy, Happy Camper! ... show more

I used this with pads and gook from harbor freight, worked great. Easy to hold, powerful, and put a showcase finish on clearcoat on a motorcycle tank. Then I did my entire car...super. Results will depend on the materials you use, get a very fine sponge buffer pad and use Meguiar's fine finish polishing gook. ... show more

Good orbital DA polisher for vehicle. The on off switch is a little funny as its a bit difficult to slide, but once you learn it, its simple enough. Works great and I can now easily polish and wax the cars in half the time or less! Great time saver, good unit for the price - good value.

I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It’s well made . And comes with a few great polishing pads and a terry cloth rag . The start button was a little sticky. But I think it will work it self in as time goes on . It seemed to start to get a little easier to turn on after a few uses . I would recommend this to a friend. ... show more

I definitely think i made a good choice. It does the job. Has a lot of power. I would buy it again. It's not a 5 star because it is a bit heavy. Although, it could be me. Great tool.
