    • They work much better without the O-rings

I'm not sure if they put the wrong size O-rings on these containers or, that they really don't need them buy, the ones they used are way too thick in cross section. They bind up and don't seal at all when you screw the caps down. I find they work much better if you just throw the O-rings in the trash. Maybe if you had some very small cross section O-rings they might stay where they are supposed to and make a better seal but, these really are not designed for O-rings in my opinion as they don't have a counter bore for them in the caps. Just a small, 45 deg countersink. LOL, these are a great example of the saying......... Less is more. ... show more

    • O ring doesn't seat properly at first on three of them.

The media could not be loaded. I'll start off with the only disadvantage I can find is that these lids when Twisted down all the way somewhat catch the O-ring that seems to be a bit too tight and Falls upward into the threading. You can pull the O-ring back with three or four fingers slightly and then close the lid and it will work fine after that. This may go away after the O-ring is seated for several weeks and I'm going to try that. For the positives, they are a good quality plastic. I could see that they could hold up to Falls and drops, but they are not too soft or flexible. Plenty of mounting options as I showed in this video. Overall I feel like they may be a tiny bit too expensive considering the O-ring issue. But overall they will definitely do exactly what they're supposed to you may just have to fidget with the O-ring a bit. ... show more
