    • A very good welder for the price
A very good welder for the price. Small welder that is easily moved unlike some of the more expensive welders. When it comes to welding I have no complaints at all. Welded a muffler onto some pipe and also welded 1/8 inch steel. Welded very well on both.

    • Powerful AC Transformer Welder with Short Cable Leads
UPDATE: Manufacturer recommends 50-amp electrical service, if you want to have a steady arc output (worked well for 160-amp output with a dual-40-amp circuit breaker - Burns 5/32 E6011 nice at 160-amps output - per the clamp on AC ammeter). This machine welds nice, and I cannot be happier with how it works (especially for the cost). However the ground clamp lead is only 4-feet long (1.2 meters), and the electrode lead is only 5-feet long (1.5 meters). The unit looked re-packaged with a slight dent on the face plate, but the unit functioned flawlessly (just a slight binding resistance when spinning the heat adjustment crank, but maybe because it is a lower-cost unit). I used E6011 and quickly filled up 50-caliber thru holes in 1/2 inch AR500 plate using the highest heat setting. Then I welded thinner material with 3/32 E6011 at 5 cranks above the lowest setting (40 cranks from max low to max high). Buy it, you will be pleased with this AC welder.     • great power and quality for price
Really surprised about the power from this little guy. You will need 220volt power for this 110v will not work we used a 7k generator for my truck and it did the whole thing big job. You need to know how to weld though don't just guess on it very dangerous. Great item!

    • Works well, for around the ranch and in the shop, so I'm satisfied especially for the price.
Been doing a lot of repairs and making things that needed making. Hey it's a great lil buzz box! And running on a 220v line I put together in the shop it works nicely, clean easy welds, plenty power, and great for anyone learning to weld. Never tried it on the 110v setting, so can't speak to that, but anyone wanting to weld some heavier stuff with good penetration it's a good lil mobile machine.w ... show more
