Boy, did I hate lugging my 7"5' Christmas tree up and down the basement steps every year. The box was falling apart, duct taped together in places, and just plain awkward. I made up my mind that this year, I was putting that sucker away in a tree storage bag. There was plenty of room for my tree, plus 8 strings of lights. I could have added a few more things. As one of the reviewers suggested, I lined the bag with cardboard from the tree box. This gives the bag shape. It's much easier to maneuver up and down the stairs with the handles. It’s made of some tarp material. It has belts, with life jacket connections to pull it in tight. We put a 7 1/2 ft tree broken down in it. We put another small tree in it as wellas garland and beads we use to decorate the bigger tree. The wheels are tiny and I don’t expect them to be very usable. They are only at one end. The bag imeasures about 4’5-6”” and 1’9” tall and with it stuffed is a little over 2’ in depth. We, like I’m sure others chose this to store the tree after the xmas tree box can’t be taped up anymore and is coming apart. I’ll give an update next year when we pull it out. ... show more

I was able to fit my 6ft tree (in 3 sections) in it easily without a lot of trouble. It opens up wide enough to get the thicker part in without much trouble.
