The bag was thicker than a standard trash bag which was great. The problem is that half way down the bags started to get tight on the tree and I was having to stuff the branches into the bag. My tree Measures 3.5’ wide at the base and the bag measures 4 (when its flat) but that measurement going from flat to round. If you have pencil tree this would work great but not a regular 7.5’ tall 3.5’ Diameter tree. Edit: I fixed it so it fits. It ain’t pretty but it works. ... show more

I got the 9x6 and used it to cover a 7.5' GE artificial tree with lights. It covered it completely and was large enough to go around the base (~4' diameter) with a little room to spare. Seeing some other reviews I was concerned about that so it probably depends on the particulars of your tree. The plastic seemed thick enough to be passable as it didn't rip when I put it on. A little pricey for what appears to be just a clear plastic bag but not sure where to find one this large otherwise. The measurements are correct. However that’s only straight across. When you open it up it doesn’t fit around a 48 inch tree at all. The bag got torn in a few places trying to stretch it around. The plastic is sturdy so it did work eventually.

This was perfect for my 7.5 Christmas Tree from Balsam Hill. My tree comes apart in 3 sections. Once the tree was placed for storage, I connected the bottom 2 sections. I placed the plastic over the top section, placed it on the middle section and gently tugged it to the floor. No rips, easy peas!
