This scanner has a good feel to it--fits well in your hand, has a nice weight to it, and a quality color screen. The buttons also work well. The UI is well thought out, so that it's easy to use/navigate with one exception: the touted cloud print feature. It can be a bit confusing to use because it will present you with a screen that says, "Need to show the data first? Yes No" The issue is that it's not intuitive what buttons you need to press. To save you some time, you press the OK button for yes and the back button for no. When you press the back button, it'll show you a QR code that has all of the values/data for your car embedded within it that you can scan with your phone. When you scan it, it'll load a web page with all of the data that you can save or print out. Pretty neat feature. So far, I don't have any codes, but the I/M readiness is helping me to know when I'll be OK to get my state inspection completed. I replaced my car battery about 150 miles ago and am waiting for the EVAP test to show that it's complete. ... show more

This is an OBD2 scanner. It is a held device that has a full color screen to make reading the displayed information a lot easier. It's much better than the plug-in devices that send the results to your phone. This scanner can even process brake effectiveness as well as acceleration information. It reads any American make after 1996. It reads foreign makes after 2006. There are way too many features to list here. The list is exhaustive. With the help of this tool we were able to fix the annoying “check engine soon” light. The tool runs of your automobiles battery power, so no additional batteries or power supply are necessary. 4 starts! The photos on Amazon, provided by the seller, do more justice to the product than any I could add. Any additional photos I might add would only prove redundant. Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would highly recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible ... show more

I am not a car expert or technician. I got this to read the error message my car was giving and it did a really good job. It was easy to use and made it even easier to get the right help. I can’t speak to much else, but it was so nice to have this tool handy.

This thing is great, just what I needed. I have a fleet of older cars at that age where something is going wrong about every week. This is super easy to use and it saves me the trip to the local parts store or shop to have a CEL scanned. Plug and play. A must have for anyone who needs to understand error codes from their vehicle. Comes ready to use out of the box. Menus are easy to use and intuitive. I don't have any other device to compare it to, so not sure if it picks up on all codes or just some. No issues so far, nice product!
