Hit tree on freeway can't walk more than a minute before needing to sit down . Amazing as a portable chair. The 3 legged one worked fine but I feel more comfortable with 4 legs and sitting normal without it cramming your private parts is priceless. The cost still is way too much. Especially if you are 6 foot tall you won't really be able to use as a cane I think because it is a little short . Now you can't expect some super comfy seat because when you see it in person you realize omg this thing is tiny. But it works amazing is not for comfort anyways is for functionality.. the price is hard to swallow but if you need this just buy it . I'm going to bring this on the semi truck with me. So when I'm fueling up I can sit. When I'm in line I can sit. This thing is literally giving me the ability to work again. Expect to probably make your own handle I'm guessing . I'm fat with big butt and I'm going to use the crap out of it every day. Hope the pics help. Also I tried to carry that metal chair around in last picture yup no way in heck is that possible way to heavy . This cane chair is literally the only real option. If you need as a cane I'm not really sure depends on your height maybe and you knowing how to use a cane . I can't use ether as a cane because I just don't know how to use a cane properly apparently, thought it was common sense but I guess not. Don't be cheap if you want this , I'm telling you order it and don't think about it no more. Not paid not sponsored I blew my own darn money in fact amazon screwed me over and was suppose to deliver couple weeks ago before I went on trip and they lost it but that was amazon fault not seller . I think seller may have got involved and sent this one because amazon really really screwed me I'm not 100 percent sure. So like I said if you got this far and still reading this review add to the cart don't play don't keep looking. The cheaper look a like don't have this high off weight rating nor have the added back piece reinforcement, and you can tell they have different legs as well. What a great idea for people with mobility issues. It is lightweight and easy to carry. I am a caregiver for my mom and I have very bad knees and I weigh 315. I'm also 5 foot 7 in tall. I pondered whether or not I wanted to keep this. My main reason for buying this is when I take my mom somewhere in the wheelchair I can't bring a rollator with the seat. And I can't stand for any period of time. My month for return is almost over and I made a decision to keep it but I will probably only use this for shopping with my mom, or going to the annual book sale that she loves. As my picture shows it's a little short and can't be adjusted to be any taller. I'm tall so I like my cane to be pretty tall. I will probably only be able to sit on this for minutes at a time but it will give my knees some relief. Also the seat is very small compared to my seat and it's low to the ground. So for someone who's not as big as me or whose knees don't hurt quite as bad as mine it is ideal. If my knees were super bad I would not be able to get up and down from it. I have sat in it several times here at my house and it actually seems pretty sturdy for my weight sitting on that little stool I just wouldn't move around a lot. But for what I want it for I think it's going to work and I'll try anything to be able to do things with my mom and not being such pain and misery LOL. I hope this helps someone. ... show more

The chair/cane is very sturdy and well made. The handle does have a noxious odor, but that wasn't the determining factor to return. I'm 5'10". The cane length is not adjustable, and too short for me. I had to bend over quite a bit to use it as a cane. The seat at 9 inches is also too small for comfortable seating for more than a minute or two. And getting up from the seated position was not easy. It is low (17 inches). I didn't feel safe using it on a solid, kitchen floor. Outside would be a lot worse. It would be good for use with a large child or rather small adult. I ordered this cane because I am having trouble walking without a cane and I can't stand very long without sitting. I thought this would be a perfect solution. The problem is that the height of the cane is not adjustable. Most canes allow you to change if it's to short or to tall. This one does not. Also the seat is a little small for a plus size person. I decided to keep it because the length was just about right for me. It could have been a little longer but should work. Also I can manage with the seat. I sat on it at home for awhile and it appears to be sturdy. The company should upgrade the cane by making it adjustable. ... show more

Due to the odor that is being emitted from the handlebars and rubber tips, it is necessary to replace those in order to use the seat cane. The cane appears to be sturdy and comfortable. I have an issue standing for periods of time. Therefore, this will be very helpful.
