    • Great Lights - Bright - Long Lasting - But Color is too warm
I like everything about the lights except the color of the light. It is very warm (not bright) and cannot be combined other solar lights in my driveway and pathway. Everything else about the lights are outstanding. They are sturdy and well made. The bulb is elongated and provides a lot of light. I like the brown color of the casing. They lights come with several extension poles if one needs to raise the lights to a high level for steps or raised patio. I only needed one pole to use with the spike end (which goes into the ground). I put the lights surrounding my back patio as the color of the emitted light is so different than my front lights that I could not put both sets in the front of my home as they would look mismatched (which they are). About the color, it is a warm color and not a bright cool color. I just checked the listing and the color temperature is listed, so I should have checked more carefully for comparison (3000 kelvin is the listed color temperature) - warm cool - I call it yellow). So sad as they charge quickly and stay "on" for a long time. ... show more

These lights assembled easily and the instructions were good. The strange thing about these lights is that each light is supposed to have (1) 1 light (2) 3 plastic sections and (3) 1 stake. It is 5 total lights in this set, so it should come with 15 plastic sections. Mine only came with 14, so it would have been short a section. However, if you use all three sections, they are ridiculously tall. In the end, what looks the best (IMHO) was to use only ONE section for each, meaning that rather than being 1 section short, I have 9 extra sections left. I'm going to keep those in case of damage, etc. in the future. They immediately light up and look terrific. The light is on the warmer side, which I prefer. In the end, they look terrific and get 5 stars. ... show more

These lights are super bright, and they seem to last well into the early morning hours! I put them outside in the morning and they got a full dose of sunlight. When I checked on them in the evening, they were still bright after a couple of hours after dark. Most solar lights I've had only last about 2 hours after dusk and then are very dim 3-4 hours after dark, and then they don't last that much longer than 4 hours. These lights were still as bright at midnight which I was amazed about. The only concern I may have that could affect the longevity: the solar top has a bit of a lip around it which seems to collect some rain/dew/sprinkler water. I don't know if this will prevent solar charging when covered in a pool of water or if the water will start to degrade the solar panels. I like the versatility of the pole length (can do 1-3 pieces), though the longer the pole, the less sturdy it is. it was hard to get the long poles to stay straight. The longer length is nice especially if you want the light to be above a potted plant or bush. I like the look of the shorter pole nearer to the ground personally. ... show more

These are larger than most, very nice solar lights that should add a bit of class to your back or front yard. I like the design, sleek and modern. As I said above perhaps the best quality of these lights is the ability to adjust the height of each light by choosing how many of the plastic inserts to use thereby achieving your desired height. The plastic housing also seems more durable than previous solar lights we've had in our yard. Installation is simple. After choosing how many inserts you want in a particular light just put the stake in last and shove it in the ground. The lights are still on when I go to bed around 10:30pm, and I imagine stay on much longer than that. I think some attention to detail went into designing and manufacturing these lights and you'll be pleased to have them in your yard. ... show more

I love these lights. Its bright, much brighter than I expected. It worked right out of the box without charging. It looks great even in the daytime without it lit. Great design except the quality of the pole. The pole is made with really flimsy plastic but as long as stick all the way in the soil it’s fine. The bulb and solar panel all look great. The solar is not very big but it can stay lit for almost the whole night if it’s charged more than 4-5 hours from the sun. It’s long which makes it even better and looks expensive. If you touch the pole then you’ll definitely feel how plastic it is. Price is amazing and for 6 units. Very easy to install. Took me about 4-5 min to get it all together. ... show more

Good lights so far. There is an on/off switch that it took a night of not coming on for me to look for it. Once I turned them on they work great! We'll see about longevity, other path lights I have purchased quit working after a few months. Will update if that is the case with these.

I was actually a bit impressed when I opened these - the lights are much larger than some other solar lights that I have and the plastic housing seems pretty durable. It's a very neat design and looks very sleek and stylish next to my koi pond. I know they always tell you to charge these for 1-2 days prior to using, but I went ahead and activated them right out of the box. SUPER impressed at how long they lasted - they all literally went from around 7PM to 6AM. Sure they got a little dimmer throughout the night, but I don't have any other solar lights that stayed lit nearly as long. So if you plan on using these in a clear, well-lit area with lots of sunlight, chances are they'll stay lit all night long. ... show more

I am so impressed with these lights so far - I opened them yesterday on an overcast day. I love that I can set them at three different heights. I selected the lowest height to line our walkway with. I turned them on as instructed and lined our path. The instructions say they need a full 8 hours of sunlight to work. We didn't get a lot of sunlight yesterday, so I had low expectations. I came downstairs this AM before the sun was out and was amazed at how bright they were shining!! They looked so great. I give these two thumbs up as an inexpensive and effective way to light a driveway, walk-way or other area. ... show more
