This headset is quite visually appealing though I’m not entirely sure why that is important to me as they are on the sides of my head during use and for the most part, I am unable to appreciate the true scope of all the rainbow swirly goodness but it’s a nice perk nonetheless. The little mic light also has its own little rainbow light show which is awesome AND visible. The ear cups and headband pad are super squishy and will certainly facilitate hours of Horde comfortably. Aesthetic and comfort wise these things are awesome albeit their sound is disappointing. Voices come in clearly, no complaints there but the game sound is quite tinny and bass leaves a lot to be desired. I did remove a star in the sound rating because of the aforementioned lacking sound quality and I wish the in-line volume went a bit higher. The Xbox One’s controller design is a bit of a nightmare since the port is located at the 6’oclock position and the cord tends to bend awkwardly because it gets in the way and I worry that will break or weaken the copper wire. The headset does include a little Velcro tie to make the long cords more manageable but the bending at the jack is a concern so maybe shrink wrap that part to immobilize it. I kinda of wish that the LED lights didn’t require a second USB cord to work but it’s not a huge issue as the cords are plenty long enough work with. I have a power strip with USB ports so I plug it in there or if you have a headset stand with USB ports even better. All in all it’s a cool headset that gets the job done, and they make my head look enchanted...or like I’m struggling to process something like the rainbow wheel on an Apple computer. ... show more

These headsets work great! They are very comfortable to wear and my kid loves the light up feature. The mic has a wide range of motion as well which is great. Coz another pair we had, the mic broke off since it didn’t have much of a range. Definitely recommend.

This is a great headset when it comes to audio, but I did notice a few flaws that happened while I owned this. First problem was it was really big looking on my head even with the adjustments on the top of it. I got these for my son who loves to game online for the PS and XBox. Product build quality 100% Sound 100% Mic 100% and Price 100%! The only thing is that he can't use the lights as they need to be connected via usb and the mic connects to the wireless control, but he doesn't need the lights since they only show on the sides of his head. These aren't good, but they're okay-ish. They certainly defeat the purpose of buying a full headset. My last set of headphones were Beexcellent; cheap, Chinese knockoff headphones, and they were really good. Studio quality noise-reduction, theater quality sound, just the best. The sound is good. I'm still able to write music and hear what it sounds like just fine. Obviously, they work fine for watching movies and playing games. I will say the sound is a little bit hollow, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Nothing else on this headset is good, though. The mic is good enough for playing DnD on Discord. It's fine for that. Recording sounds for sound-effects or my voice for actual use in music is awful. I only ever did it as a joke, anyway. My singing voice isn't the best, so I only used it for joke songs. The mic isn't good enough for joke music. Which s*cks, because I loved doing it. But the real egregious thing about this headset is the controls. The design of the controls is fine. It's a switch to turn the mic on and off and a volume slider. It works is the only good thing I can say about it. When you turn the mic on and off, people listening hear a loud bang, like a lightning strike, and when turning mic input on, it takes around two seconds before it will actually transmit your voice, so you can be talking and people will miss the first half of your sentence. This is inexcusable when recording, not just for the lightning storm this thing causes, but you have to use this because if you don't, OBS is still going to pick up your voice even if you've muted through the chat. The worst part is that if you're listening to a video, or something on Spotify or what not, the headphones transmit it directly into any voice chat or on any recording platform you're using, no matter what. This is for watching movies and single-player gaming and it will work for that just fine. For any kind of chat, the mic is terrible. I'm keeping them as a backup set in case my current headphones go out. I do not recommend them for anything else. The mic would actually be better if it were completely useless. ... show more
