I love ratchet belts. So easy to use, attractive, and easy to adjust. These are well made belts. Nice leather in both belts, and nice metal (steel?) buckles. You can feel the quality. One caution. Most belts are sold with a range of inches in length The reason is that you can cut the belt to match your waist size. I highly recommend that you intentionally cut the length at least 5 inches larger than your belt size. Even longer doesn't hurt. Then try it on and pull it snug as you would want to wear it and notice hoe much extra belt length beyond where the belt passes through the buckle. Let's say it's 6 inches beyond the buckle when you've tightened it to a comfortable wearing length. So let's say you have a belt loop 2 inches beyond the buckle through which the excess belt length can fit. You would probably cut 3 inches from the belt such that you have the excess belt length fitting through your pants loop with an inch to spare. Too much extra length doesn't look good. What I really like about these belts is the design of the buckle. Not only the notch design that allows smaller adjustments, but the design of the buckle allows you to customize the belt’s length easily so that not too much of it is extended out past the belt buckle. It has a toothed clamp that allows you to remove the belt, cut off as much as you want and clamp it back on. Belts feel like they're good, if a little stiff. Great price for what you get. The buckle feels like it's a good quality, and the sliding mechanism feels solid. But definitely does NOT come with a "gift box" but besides that, they're good.

This belt works really well. With one hand, you can operate the switch on the buckle to loosen it if you need. It is a little strange to cut the belt to the proper length but I couldn't imagine there being an easier way to adjust it to the proper length that works for everyone.
