Description

For used needle tip pens. If you leave the pen idle for more than half a year, the needle nib may dry out, and clogging may occur when it is used again. Here is the solution: 1: Because liquid chrome ink is very thick, the ink stratification phenomenon will be very serious if it is not used for a long time. Please shake vigorously for 1 minute before use with the cap closed; 2: Open the needle cap and pull out the needle. Wipe the needle tip with alcohol- based sanitizer wipes or alcohol cloth for several minutes to dilute and dissolve the clogged ink inside; 3: After cleaning the needle tip, put the needle tip back into the pen body. Press up and down on draft paper and wait for the ink to flow out to write normally

I enjoyed spending some time tonight playing with these pens and stencils. The design of the pens, and the tips, follows the typical paint pen style, requiring a good shake, and then pressing the tip up and down until the tip has enough of the paint in it to saturate it. The handling was good, and there was no leaking of the pens, which is always a plus. I've had badly designed pens by other manufacturers where the paint just poured out around the tip, resulting in a mess, but that was not a worry with these. Furthermore, there was no need for extra pumping as I drew, which indicated a fairly high quality of design and manufacturing. The only downside I found with these pens was that the colors were more faded than the outside of the pen seemed to indicate, which was a shame, as I was looking forward to drawing with some nice candy metallic designs, and possibly even trying them out on scale models. 4/5 Stars, with 1 star subtracted for the less than expected saturation/vibrancy of the colors. ... show more

    • Okay but don't like the colors
I guess I didn't read the description well enough but these are Matt when they dry and most are metallic. The colors are a little strange, the one that looks bright green, is actually a metallic gray. It takes a lot of shaking and priming the tip to get them full of paint. But once they are primed they draw well. Like a highlighter tip you can use the flat side for a wider stroke, and a very edge for a finer line. I was just not impressed with the colors, and they dry to a matte finish which kind of looks strange. These will be okay for sign making, but I won't use them for things like a coloring book or a painting. ... show more

    • Very precise, but the colors suffer a bit from the metallic aspect
The ends of these markers are perfect for most anything you'd need them for - the chisel tip is nice and sharp, perfect for doing calligraphy, and the detail fine side is small enough to add miniscule touches to whatever you're working on. My only complaint is that in order to make these markers metallic, it seems as though silver was added to each color. It does have a metallic sheen, but the silver waters down the pigment of the marker, making the colors less vivid. ... show more

the colors are not true. Now let me explain. The red is closer to a mauve than a true red. =( And, make sure to shake the pens really hard and then you need to tap them quite a few times before ink will start to run enough for you to write or paint. The metallic quality is pretty nice and shiny but it was hard to get the ink running to start using. ... show more

I like these acrylic paint pens because they are metallic colors with a chisel and a fine point. Once the ink fills the tips, the paint flows smoothly onto whatever I am writing/drawing on. I discovered that these pens write/draw very well on baked polymer clay and cured UV resin. They also write well on plastic. Once the pens were sitting for a couple of days, I did go through the routine of shaking them before use but it didn’t take as much time as it did the first time I used them. I like all the colors and I consider the “Metallic Orange” a copper color that looks so good on black polymer clay pieces. The pen caps do close securely, so hopefully these pens will last and not dry out too fast. I think for the price, these paint pens are a good purchase for any art room. ... show more

    • Rich colors, fine tip and fast drying.
These are lovely pens. I have a few sets of acrylic paint pens, and these outshine the others. The colors are beautiful, and the pigment is a lot stronger. It applies very smoothly to many surfaces. I have used these on metal, paper, plastic and wood. All look equally great. These dry extremely fast. I was adding detail to a miniature car, and it was dry within 30 seconds. I know this as I clumsily touched the area I had just painted, and it had not smeared or transferred to my hand. I personally do not use the chisel side much, but love the fine point! Such a high quality fine point acrylic pen seems hard to find. Usually brush tips are the closest if you want a thin line. These are high quality and really useful to have on hand if you are crafty or artistic. I will be buying the 32 vibrant color pack and look forward to using them too. ... show more

    • Very nice metallics paint markers.
Love paint markers especially some of the metallics - these are a lot of metallic colored options. They have great tips and are quality. The main problem with paint markers - and I presume these will be the same - once you start the flow they will dry out really fast and go bad especially with limited use. I've only started one so far - saving rest for purpose. Good purposes - Writing chemicals in spray bottles. Writing on glass ... show more

The instructions are everywhere! I appreciate this. They are on the box, on an insert, and one each pen. I was a little worried about just putting cap on instead of rinsing but it seems fine so far. No other questions with the instructions. I don't like the tips so much. Whe pushung with cap to vent I dented one of the broad tips. They seem to be a stiff foam, that can be deformed but has no flexibility. My fabric tuggs a lot with these pens, and there was not a lot of bleeding but there were unintentional marks due to the friction. The tips are also fragile, despite being stiff and coarse, as some did start to fray at the point of the broad tio for just this small design. I used flash and none to check, but it seems the paint doesn't fully sit on the fabric color and instead blends some with the base color - the purple looks very dark and the two greens look very similar. The pink looks purpleish. I know there is the product photo but I am surprised there is no orange or yellow, instead there are 3 shades of brown and 2 of grey. 2 stars off for the color blending with the base and for the broad tips. ... show more
